How can I use my time this summer to work on myself and not waste time?

Make this summer different! Instead of rolling out of bed around noon, checking your phone, and turning on the TV, get strategic about how you can use all that wonderful free time you have for a change. If you do, this can turn out to be the summer you’ll remember because you were smart about using it to the maximum!Where to start? These 5 tips can get you motivated to make that first step.Summer tip #1. Get your priorities straight.Consider how much vacation time you have. Is it a few weeks, a month, or 3 months? Write down the actual number of days at your disposal. This will help you manage your time better.Write down a list of things you’ve been wanting to do all year. These should not be obligations or chores you’ve been putting off. Rather, they should be activities that you enjoy doing or you’ve been thinking about doing for a long time.On that list, circle the top 3–5 things most important to you. Which items on the list do you believe you’d regret not doing on the last day of your vacation, or what are the things you know that you won’t have time to do later?Summer tip #2. Create a master schedule.Take a notebook and dedicate one page to each day of your vacation. Write the date for each day you have available at top of the page. Then divide up pages into 3 sections: morning (from waking up to lunch), afternoon (1–6 p.m.), and evening (6 p.m. to bedtime).Block off times for meals, chores, and errands. Be sure to include time you spend on the bus, driving, or walking to the store for your daily grocery shopping, for example. On each day, block off one hour in the afternoon and write “Me time!” in that time slot. This will be the time you’ll spend on just yourself. Use it to go out for a walk, sit in the sun, listen to music, or look out the window with a cup of coffee in hand and watch people and traffic going by. Let this time be for thinking about anything you want, daydreaming about possibilities, or just breathing mindfully.Go back to your list of top 3–5 things, then schedule them in so you’re working on them a little bit each day. What’s the right amount of time? Whatever works best for you, but in the beginning keep it short and simple, maybe 30 minutes to one hour. The key is to make things manageable and realistic, so that you can keep up the pace throughout your vacation.Summer tip #3. Prep your creative space. Before you start any creative work, have everything ready the evening before so you don't waste time looking for things and give in to any feelings of procrastination. You’re also much more likely to stay motivated if you know that everything you need is ready for you.Put your books, notebooks, and art supplies on your desk or in your workspace.Create a music playlist either by saving it or queuing it up so it’s ready to play, which will help you get in the zone and in your creative mood.Write up a simple plan for the day so you know what you’d like to do, whether that means writing one paragraph or sketching a portrait.Summer tip #4. Max out your mornings.Boost your focus by asking one question in the morning. It’s this question: What is the one thing I am committed to completing today? It makes things simple so that, even if you have several things on your list for the day, you’ll identify which item on that list takes precedence.Resist the temptation to sleep in until noon. It’s a question of training yourself to wake up and get out of bed at the same time each day, as if you’re still going to school. You’ll be able to use more of the day to do what’s important to you.Create an energizing morning routine. From having a healthy breakfast to getting a short workout, think of ways to boost energy so you can stay creative throughout the day.Summer tip #5. Feed your brain.Be selective with what you choose for entertainment. Don’t let TV, Instagram, or the news take over your day. Instead, pick something that will engage your brain in a more creative way and give you time to reflect on what you’re experiencing each day.Listen to podcasts or audiobooks while you’re running errands, going for a run or a walk, or doing your daily chores at home such as washing dishes, folding laundry, etc.Read books (fiction and non-fiction), which you can check out from your local library so you don’t have to spend a lot of money, while still being able to try out as many writers, genres, or topics that might interest you.Start working on developing a new skill to boost your creativity. It can be anything from learning a foreign language to trying out a musical instrument you’ve always wanted to play but never had time for. Even 15 minutes a day to start can add up in big ways. And who knows, it might spark a passion for something that you’ll want to keep doing even after your vacation ends!

I have no desire for anything in life and I am not depressed. What should I do?

I too am going through the same thing, though it's much better now for me then it was 2 years ago. I know the secret to slowly break out of this mindset now through experience. Your simply too complacent, at least that's how it was for me. Try this - put away all electronics somewhere you can't see them as soon as you wake up, then get out of the room you usually sleep in. Keep any electronics away from you for at least an hour. Read a book, draw, play a instrument ,whatever. After that hour you can get whatever electronics you want but you must only use them to assist in daily life. For example use a photo to reference when drawing, or put on a piano tutorial or listen to some music whilst exercising. It's honestly amazing how active you become when you separate yourself from the things that make you complacent. Pick up a hobby, if you don't like anything, well that's impossible! even watching YouTube is a hobby.. I guess. If all you do is watch YouTube then become a youtuber! 😂😅. Seriously tho, get a hobby, even if it's being a youtuber. Also, TALK TO PEOPLE. I know I sound like some boomer going on about how kids these days are glued to their phone but I'm like 15 and this helped SOOOO MUCH. You probably talk to people way less then you think you do. Go on a walk if you live in a nice area aswell, that always helps. If none of these help then it's time to go adventuring! Go to somewhere exhilarating, like a rural holiday or camping or the theme park or a watersports centre or something. Do something exciting to wake yourself up! Go running, A LOT. It helps if you live in a greener area. Your main focus right now is to pick up a passion. It doesn't matter what it is, be it games, art, YouTube, makeup, anime, sport, dance, music, even sowing or knitting would work. Find something that fits you! Passion is the spark you need to get you out of this! If for the life of you you can't seem to find a passion then put responsibility on yourself. If your an adult you can start a business or if your under 16 like me you can simply help out around the house, or maybe help your friends do something they struggle at, or just simply study more and set a goal for yourself. You can also try social media apps such as instagram, tiktok and Facebook. I personally think they are ridiculous but I see the allure in at least Instagram as I love watching people go to beautiful unknown places. Though I stick to watching it on YouTube. Anyway what I'm trying to say with the while social media thing is that social media is really compelling, although that can be used in the wrong, as it usually is, but that drive it gives its users maybe something you can use to lift yourself up. Although I recommend this as a last resort as social media can be very toxic to your self respect and esteem, with the likes systems and all.Anyway overall, find a passion. It helps, take it from someone who knows what you are going through if nobody else. And keep away from your phone, it's amazing what you can do when you get rid of the things that make you complacent.EDIT: I decided to edit this real quick because I forgot to emphasize my point in staying out your bedroom/ wherever you go to sleep. It is lITERALLY a room that subconsciously blocks you from wanting to do anything. I don't remember where I read about the psychology behind this but I know it's definitely true because it was the defining factor for me in helping with my lack of interest and my extreme boredom. Because you rest in that room whenever you enter that room your body gets ready to rest, even if it's daytime! You may not actually feel sleepy because it is say, the morning or the early afternoon but you will lose all motivation to do anything because you mind associates the room with rest.

I made a mistake by buying the wrong Filmora application and they gave me the support to change it... They returned the money I paid back and I could use the Filmora application I needed... It was very easy.
