My immediate thought - hmm hmm, looks like some low carb health nut decided to replace boiled rice with something else and still had the temerity to call it an idli.Then I look for potential clues for sensory qualities of idli. I notice his finger and I see the idli not getting depressed from the pressure. My thoughts - damn this has not been fermented well. Oh drat no surprise, beer ferments very well in English weather my dear sir, but idli batter does not.Then I look at the texture and there is none.So you take a non-rice idly, ferment it badly and put it in a crazy ass non-stick cooker = bad idli. Even I would not eat that idli because it is not idli.And more importantly the professor committed a cardinal sin. He let the idli wander on its own.Dear Professor, idli is like your Queen. It needs all the pomp and pageantry around it to shine through.An ideal idli is = 3 parts rice, 1 parts decorticated black gram, fermentation temperature of 35–37 degree C, fermentation period of 12–14 hours. One parameter goes wrong, idli goes for a toss.What is likely to happened with that sorry looking excuse of an idli - this probably would have been fermented under English temperature inside an oven and for much longer than 14 hours and the low carb nut probably replaced part of rice with brown rice or soya bean.Food forensics over :) Am I too old to become a food writer?????

If Biden wants people without IDs to be able to vote, why doesn't he create a national ID for everyone? That way everyone will have an ID and be eligible to vote.Republicans would block it. They are only for IDs when they can use them for voter suppression.

I sat at the MySQL console for the production web application database and typed:DELETE FROM tablename WHERE id - 1234;...and hit return.Note that I typed id - 1234, not id = 1234.In MySQL the statement (value - value) is false if it evaluates to 0, and true if it evaluates to anything else. I just asked the database to delete all rows where the ID minus 1234 was not zero.It replied "80,000 rows deleted".
