Especially when combined with other terms like energy, this just means lower than a defined zero level.[3] For the pseudoscientist, this means “bad” energy, an adjective that doesn't make sense.Theory: A strong scientific framework that explains a range of phenomena, with predictive power and supported by observations. Not a random guess.Newton’s third law: A statement of conservation of linear momentum, which states that the interactions between two bodies appear as a simultaneous pair of forces equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. For the pseudoscientist, this is a wishy-washy philosophical term that says that everything you do will have an opposite consequence in the future, and can be used to provide “scientific” justification for karma.Quantum physics: A scientific theory that describes the behaviour of nature at small scales. For a pseudoscientist, this is a scapegoat to accuse for any phenomenon they don’t understand, or which might not even exist.
