YOGI VS AKHILESH RULEMLA's of criminal backgroundBJP has 143 MLA’ s with criminal background in 2017 Uttarpradesh assembly. Yogi rule has shown full control on the tainted image MLA's.WhereasSamaajwaadi party has 189 MLA’ s with criminal background in 2012 Uttarpradesh assembly. Akhilesh showed his inability to stamp his authority on his party snd had to support some tarnished image MLA's like Mukthar Ansari, Vijay misra and Azam khan in various unlawful activities.ScamsNo scam has yet been heard in the governance of BJP. However, opposition wrongly claiming about covid kit purchase scam in sultanpur.WhereasSeveral scams are probed by ED and CAG like illegal land mining scam, police recruitment scam, money laundering scam during SP regime. Various irregularities regarding utilization of money worth crores, has been found in Akhilesh rule.Religious riotsNo major riot was there in Yogi govt. . The Yogi cabinet has approved the UP Recovery of Damage to Public Properties Ordinance, 2020 for recovery of losses of the government and private properties during riots and violent agitations.WhereasHundreds of small and some major riots like muzaffarnagar, saharanpur, ghaziabad, bareilly, pratapgarh occured in Akhilesh regime, leaving thousands of dead and injured. .Law & orderUP witnessed sharp decline in crimes figures of 2016 (Akhikesh) and 2019 (Yogi).Dacoity - decline of 60.94℅.Loot cases - decline of 46.42℅.Murder- decline of 20.95℅.Kidnapping- decline of 46℅.Rape - decline of 18.59℅.The reason of decline is obvious in Yogi regime as there is drastic elimination of all dreaded gangsters by police encounters ( aprrox. 76) and rounding up surrendered criminals for faster expedited conviction process. There is zero tolerance for crime & criminals and police have total free hand.WhereasAs in earlier Akhilesh Yadav had given full protection to rogue elements. Police didn't dare to touch them. NowRoad, power supply, water and cleanlinesRoad - Yogi government has done tremendous amount of work in the field of Road pit filling and PwD tender transparency, resulting better road conditions in state.Earlier in Akhilesh yadav government, the road building involved lot of corruption by alloting tenders to known contractors resuting bad qualities roads.Power Supply- Those who are living in UP will agree with me that power supply in the state has improved tremendously. There is no long power cuts or voltage fluctuations and drops now. Rural areas are also getting ample supply due to the policy of electricity equitable supply in Yogi regime.Prior to 2017, even major cities of the state witnessed 10–12 hours power cuts daily.Water- Purification & conservation of water had improved.Cleanliness- Programmes like swacch bharat, open defecation free (ODF ) schemes, waste recycling and management were effectively implemented.Building infrastructureYogi has embarked on a big transformational building of infrastructure on a very big scale totally unprecedented in history of UP. Underdeveloped regions were given infrastructure development projects such as the Purvanchal Expressway (340.82 km), Bundelkhand Expressway (296.070 km) and Ganga Expressway (596.00 km). It is noteworthy that before 2017, only two cities in the state were connected to the air grid. Now, seven cities has added to the air grid in the past three years and is working on building 12 new airports.WhereasAkhilesh also worked well on district roads, 50 districts in UP were connected to four-lane roads, but the speed of development was slow and affected by corruption.CorruptionPrior to BJP regime in March 2017 , the state was run either by Samajwadi Party or Bahujan Samaj Party governments for 15 years. Both the parties had strong caste orientations and as a result, the entire bureaucracy and official machinery, including police, was also divided on caste lines. Additionally corruption so prevailed down the line, thus converting the state’s administrative machinery into one of the most corrupt state in the country. There at least 19 Yadav family members in elected posts of power at the state and central level. This perhaps makes it the largest political dynasty in the countryNow, government has tight reins over the MLA's, beurocrates and administrative system and people of state had felt lower corruption dring Yogi's rule.Foreign Investments & ease of doing businessYogi government has organised global investor summit in which hundreds of projects have been finalised to be started n the state. UP is one of the state which reformed in labour laws and ensure a single window operation to attract FDI. Also, Uttar Pradesh has made a jumped from 12th position in BRAP- 2017-18 to 2nd position in BRAP-2019 taking a remarkable leap of 10 position.No such endeavor was seen in Akilesh regime.Farmer distress RedressalWhen Yogi took over, one of the major issue in front of him, was the balance worth crores was left to pay to West UP sugarcane farmers by Samajwadi Party. The prices of sugarcane was also not increased from a long time. The payment of sugarcane balance was done and the state government set up 6,000 procurement centres to help farmers sell their produce and also increased number of warehouses and cold storages which is the great help to farmers.WhereasAkhilesh government was blamed by farmers for agrarian crisis and with as many as 75 districts reportedly suffering from varying degrees of drought. In bundelkhand the distress forced scores of farmers to commit suicides.EmploymentVarious private manufacturing units like Samsung mobiles were started in Yogi’s regime resulting in creation of jobs. Huge foriegn investment is expected but organising UP Investor summit, further to create new jobs. Many SBU and IT parks were established in BJP regime. Yogi Adityanath-led government set to give jobs to 11 lakh migrant workers in an unprecedented move, during covid crisis.Apart from above, various number central schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Saubhagya. “In the past three years, the BJP government in the state has succeeded in changing the perception of the state. It is stippled with the temple ruins from the Vijayanagara Empire.Places to visit – The Islamic Quarter, The Sacred Centre, and The Royal Centre etc. One can enjoy the inspiring view of the Tungabhadra River, explore the stepped tank and the ruins.Nearest Airport – Hubli Airport is 143 km far from Hampi.4)Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh – It is a hill station in Madhya Pradesh.Places to visit – Handi Khoh, Apsara Vihar, Pandava and Jatashankar caves.Nearest Airport – Raja Bhoj Airport lies at a distance of 195 km from Pachmarhi.5)Jammu and Kashmir – The state equals the burst of colors during this time of the year. Places like Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, Sonamarg, and Kupwara etc. will definitely amuse you.
