(Long response alert)As an Aspie myself, I've not tried for either SSI or SSDI. However, I was diagnosed after a medical discharge from the Army, and I am rated at 100% (plus special monthly compensation) for those disabilities and receive VA disability accordingly.That said, I've been working nearly constantly since I was 17 (took two breaks, briefly - one for moving out of state and one for the birth of my child). I have worked in the disability sector for roughly 15 years now, have a Master's degree in counseling psychology, and have been the (Vocational) Rehabilitation Director and Employee Development Services (EDS) training program manager for a large, multi-county CARF accredited (EDS and Vocational Evaluation, if anyone's interested) for almost ten years. Previously I was a mental health/developmental disabilities/substance abuse case manager and Qualified Professional, and a Supported Employment job developer/job coach. I'm also a Master Career Counselor (highest designation within my category) in the National Career Development Association. Since switching to the disability sector from corporate headhunting and other diverse employment - I figured I may as well get paid to satisfy my curiosity about other jobs and what they do, so that's what I did - I have worked with over a thousand people with disabilities in my current position alone; with my other two long-term jobs in this field, I would estimate at least 500 more people with a tremendous range and combination of disabilities.That's a small portion of my background in this ares, put there mainly to show I like to think I do know a little about what I'm about to say in response to the question posed. :)Many of these folks I work with are on either SSI or SSDI or both, for various reasons. SSI is the most common, as SSDI requires a certain amount of work credits obtained in order to qualify. Depending on the nature of the disabiling condition(s), folks may or may not (ever) qualify for SSDI.I have had clients on the spectrum who are on SSI. Some receive it on their own merits, others due to parental medical condition - but that's only up to a certain point. I have had a handful of clients on the spectrum who receive SSDI, but they are typically late-diagosed as I was.(True story, the DSM-IV was released in May 1994 on the second day of my upper class Abnormal Psychology bachelor's degree program in psychology, which I entered to try and figure people out so I could understand them and communicate more effectively. Upon reading the new Asperger's entry, I thought, “ Oh, so this is why!” And promptly continued on with life, which included joining the Army after receiving my B.A., getting married, having a child, going back to work and graduate school, etc. I only decided to obtain the formal diagnosis in 2014, and then mainly to prove a point to someone.)If I have a client with SSDI who is in the spectrum, it's usually due to other disabling conditions, as usually ASD issues in those cases aren't severe enough to prevent them from working. They would not have been able to earn enough work credits to qualify for SSDI otherwise.I like SSI, as when you exceed the monthly SGA (Substantial Gainful Activity), they only deduct one dollar from your SSI payment for every two dollars earned over the SGA. (After the standard deduction, which is generally in the realm of $70 but can be more.) SSDI is more of an all or nothing deal though, and involves the nine month Trial Work Period (TWP) spanning a five year consecutive period, the Expedited Reinstatement of Benefits, and so on. It's easier to lose SSDI but also relatively easier to get back on it than SSI. But SSI is easier to work with, at least in my job, and is also the greater percentage of what my clients have (if anything at all). This is even more true for my ASD clients.So my short answer (finally :) ) would be that people on the spectrum, in my experience, tend to be more likely by far to have SSI than SSDI, but even then, getting either is not a given. You still have to demonstrate exactly how and to what degree ASD issues impair your ability to work and/or take care of yourself independently (assuming you are your own guardian and over the legal age of majority - which here in the USA is 18). The presence of outside insurance can play a role too, but it gets more complicated then and I don't think that rabbit hole is entirely relevant to the question posed.Disclaimer: I don't work for the Social Security Administration (SSA) nor for any state agency, though my employment generally has had a hand-in-hand partnership with state vocational rehabilitation agencies, Department of Social Services, Services for the Blind, worker’s compensation case management agencies, etc. as they all refer their clients to us. I also attend annual training and multi-day workshops every couple of years in disability benefits planning (mostly financial) for rehabilitation professionals.However, the rules and dollar amounts for disability benefits change yearly, and I do not do - nor am I qualified to do - individual disability benefits counseling. I know enough to be quite dangerous, as the saying goes, but I'm not an expert in this. The referring agency often has an in-house disability benefits specialist or a contract with one to whom my clients can be referred. I often sit in on these meetings to help translate for both sides so everyone is on the same page of understanding the nitty-gritty of it all. I also always recommend going to the SSA's website and looking for the year's “Red Book” (yes, that is actually it's name), as the Red Book explains the changes each year to SSI and SSDI, shows each state's add-ons (if any), discusses the difference between programs, offers sample calculations to demonstrate how benefits are determined (it includes actual math problems as examples of various situations), and so on. Paper copies of the Red Book are available free upon request and you can also download it as a PDF from the SSA website. I have a downloaded copy on my computer desktop at work and an archived Red Book folder for prior years. It is an invaluable resource to have on hand. Just be sure you have the most current year available, and for specific questions, speak with an SSA employee.My biggest pet peeve is when people are told how many hours they can work before benefits are affected. That hourly figure is ONLY applicable to the person as long as they continue working for the same amount of wages as when they walked into the SSA office that day. If they get a raise, it changes. If they switch jobs to something with different wages, it changes. SSI and SSDI are based on income, not hours worked. Not everyone gets the full monthly payment, either. I deal with this particular issue almost every day at work, and it is incredibly frustrating that SSA counselors in general don't explain the hours vs. monthly income situation, nor how (or if) it will affect benefit payments. Or if they do, they often gloss over things or over-simplify, which for ASD level 1 folks (Aspies, by and large) is doing them a disservice because many are perfectly capable of understanding this factual material.Hope that helped some.

I mean you have to read a lot then cross reference find studies on things when it comes to say Holistic medicine.Modern medicine has come a long way for sure mostly for detecting things from PET SCANS, MRIs, CAT SCANS. It's up to us to know what goes into our bodies, and the not so friendly foods that we eat due to the fact they spray them with pesticides, then we cook then not knowing where they came from or how long they were in big rig.After the foods yes fresh veggies How do cook them without boiling then in water in which takes the little of left over nutrition away.Well you can steam them and buy only local organic. Expensive YES. I'm happy to see places, grocery stores and restaurants finally selling organic foods power like granola bars tasty and only have 2 grams of sugar In it. The United States is the fatest of all other country's this country and especially in CA we have become sicker, fatter, and poorer, WHY just put sentences like why is the US one of the more stressed?
