The 480GB version and up boast seq reads of 3480MB/s, putting them on par with Samsung 970 EVO’s.For an enclosure with plenty of airflow, the $45 Cougar MX330 is a solid choice. Pair this with the excellent Cougar VTX500 Bronze PSU, which is also $45.So. This put us well over budget at $440. Spending $500 on a RTX 2070 puts us at $940.And here is our dilemma. Do we cheap out on a RTX 2060 for $349, or do we go over budget and stick with the RTX 2070? This will have an impact on which monitor to get. Since the RTX 2060 will only maintain about 80fps at 1440p, it mostly takes a 144Hz monitor off the table.That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it is just something to be aware of at exactly this price point in April 2019.
