Is getting 100 percent attendance at VIT useful?

This is definitely my question. I’m in my final year right now & I maintained 100% attendance for the first 3 years of my college, no kidding. And yeah, that’s six semesters straight. Here goes my certificates; This one’s for 1st semester,For 2nd & 3rd semesters,And the last one for 4th & 5th semesters,For some reasons, they don’t give certificates for each semester and 1st sem was an exception. A sum of 1ooo rupees gets deposited in your bank account along with every certificate. And I can’t claim certificate for 6th semester because I don’t have 100% in my 7th semester due to placement activities. Why 100% ?I just didn’t find the need to bunk classes as I already had plenty of free hours through out the day. And it’s not about money too, you’ll spend the most of it on throwing parties anyway. Was it useful ?7th semester, placements. I mentioned this under “achievements” section of my resume and it was my 3rd interview with an american based company. The interview went like this:Panelist: Why are u so studious?Me: I’m not. How did u come up with something like that?P: You mentioned in your resume that you attended all the classes in your college life?Me: Sir, that doesn’t mean I’m studious. I’m just regular & punctual.P: Well, we don’t give away certificates for things like this in our organization.Me: I’d still come everyday.Result: Selected! All your mates might possess strong technical skills and having a trump card like this will really help.Cheers!P.S. Comments like “Dude, get a life” , “engineering life wasted” are not welcomed as I already heard those a lot.

In auto insurance, can a person transfer no claim bonus (NCB) to a new vehicle without selling his old car?

If you do not want to sell your old car and transfer the existing comprehensive insurance (with no claim history) to your new car, you have to obtain No Claim Certificate from your insurance company's Home Branch. You can approach your insurance Home Branch and request them the following:First generate a fresh third party insurance on your old car in your own name.2. After generating third party insurance, you get your existing comprehensive insurance cancelled. A refund, if any, will be generated and will be paid to you through the same gateway as your mode of payment.3. After that the company will issue you a No Claim Certificate which you can use to get rebate on insurance (OD) on your new car. This certificate is valid for 3 years. This whole process can be completed just in hour and half.4. The new third party insurance can be transferred to anyone who buy your car. However, if you will ask insurance agents, most of them will misguide you that unless you sell your old car you cannot obtain No Claim Certificate. Just ignore their advise and approach your insurance provider and request him the services as mentioned above.RegardsRK Bhardwaj
