Railway Mutual Transfer: Fill & Download for Free

A railway staff can apply for his transfer mainly through two systems. First one is own request and the second one is the mutual basis.So far my knowledge mutual transfer has only done between two same grade employee of the same community. If anyone of two candidates at upper-grade pay then he has to give a declaration of transfer at lower grade pay. The seniority has taken on account of whom, who are in lower grade pay and below seniority.Example:- Two employee A and B has applied for mutual transfer. A is in GP of Rs 4200/- and seniority position is 50 community UR and B is IN GP of Rs 2800/- and seniority position is 45 community UR. When they apply for mutual transfer staff A has to give a declaration that he accepts the transfer at lower GP with lower GP seniority.Now when the transfer completes A placed at seniority list of 45 in GP Rs 2800/- and B also placed at same.Thanks for reading my answer.

Yes and no, both. Very common transfer processes are ‘own request transfer’ and ‘mutual transfer’. Intra-divisional mutual transfer cases take from 1 month to 6month or in some cases, upto 1yr. But own request cases take more time and it depends on whether he/she wants to take transfer to city area or non city area, availability of staff, and few other grounds. If you are a running staff like loco pilot/ guard then you may have bulk transfer but TNC or TC are transfered one at time or two at a time. Here i want to add my case. I applied for transfer in 2014 (intra divisional, own request, from non city to city area), i still have not got tranfered yet. Own request transfers from one division/zone/railway to another sometimes take 1yr to forever. So its better to go for mutual transfer than own request in these cases. But there are some grounds on which transfer processes are more quicker. Like spouse ground, compassionate ground etc. Hope this helps.P.s its July, 2020, I am still not transferred. 😔
