It came across as too casual for a video shot with the express purpose of being seen by the general public. He wasn’t even wearing a pair or shorts over his diaper. And no Harry was present in the video except as a disembodied voice behind the camera (and I agree, he sounded weird, he should have been very audible from behind the camera and instead sounded like the teacher from Charlie Brown). She was dressed fairly sloppy too. I don’t care that she was wearing shorts, but a nice top wouldn’t have hurt. Not that ginormous Jean shirt she had on. It is possible to be casual and comfortable even in hot weather, without being dressy. If I can do it on less than $50 dollars from Old Navy, so can she.As for the other stuff (no connection, unmaternal) I’m not going there. I’m not a mom, so I wouldn’t know.

I agree with Andreas that the powered zoom is likely more useful if want a smooth transition for video or for a special effect on a long exposure. Otherwise the manual zoom IMHO is superior for still images.Likely due to the inclusion of video, ILCs now have some options that are normally video oriented. For example, my 300mm Canon lens has power focus as described by Canon: "New: power-focus option, for smooth focus movement in HD video shooting (user turns ring to left or right to pick direction; two speeds of power focus available; focus stops when user releases ring)." After 18 months of owning this lens I have yet to use this feature.... I shoot stills.Some early motorized implementations were are are perhaps still flawed due to motor noise intruding onto the recording but these are getting better with near-silent operation. But, make a point to check noise levels if you are purchasing for video purposes.

A dedicated graphics card like Nvidia (or AMD) has mainly one purpose, to improve the gaming performance.Games are released every now and then, so the drivers need to be constantly tweaked to squeeze out maximum performance with the latest titles. If you see the driver release notes, you can see how much performance increment there will be for the latest titles over the previous version. Even for an increment of 1 frame per sec, gamers will be happily ready to update the drivers. Nvidia does a very good job in constantly updating the drivers to get the last drop of performance increment. You can relate this to Windows weekly updates, while there it’s for security reason mainly, here it’s for performance.As long as you dont want any gaming performance increments, you can stick to your old drivers. Your PC wont stop working altogether.Coming to your question, why don’t Macs have any driver updates? For this you have to take in to the number of AAA gaming titles released for Mac. It will be a lot less when compared to Windows. That is why video card drivers are less frequently updated in Mac.For video editing and GPU accelerated multimedia tasks also, drivers need not be updated frequently.This only comes in to picture in gaming.Hope this helps :)
