I would not refer to Daniel Cormier as “so fat and flabby”. He is more on the stocky and chubby side but he also has very well developed muscles. This is visible when he cuts weight to compete at Light Heavyweight for example.When he gains weight to compete at Heavyweight, (his preferred weight class ) of course he does not look ripped but he still has those strong muscles underneath the extra pounds on his frame. What makes him an elite fighter is not how he looks but what he can do against equally elite competition. Patience.I am usually a patient person but not always behind the wheel. Last winter, I was driving on a narrow country road. It was night time and there were no street lights on the road, I was in a hurry to get to my destination fast. I had used this road a couple of times and I thought I was very familiar with the curves, long stretches where I could speed up and overtake cars in front of me if I needed to. That night, there were four cars in front of me; three saloon cars and a huge trailer leading the pack. The slow speed of the trailer meant all the cars behind it were travelling slowly too.I became impatient.When we got to the first part of the road where the road stretches straight over several hundred metres; I was able to overtake the first car when it was safe to do so, then the second when it was safe to do so and then the third without any problems. I was now behind the trailer, I thought, just one more and I will be on my way.There was another long stretch of road ahead where one could easily see what was coming from the other direction, perfect time to overtake this trailer that was slowing me down.We got to this next long stretch of road, so I thought, and I decided it was time to overtake this trailer. In my rush, I had misjudged the distance of this long stretch. It was in fact a very short stretch leading into a sharp curve. Just when I started overtaking the trailer, I saw the headlights of a car coming round from the curve in the opposite direction. I saw my life flash before me when I realised I was headed for a head on collision. I applied my brakes quickly and tried to get back behind the very trailer I was hastily trying to overtake. In the process, the passenger side of my car hit the underride guard on the trailer, smashing the windows, side mirror, doors and the front grill also came off from the side that hit the trailer. I had narrowly missed the oncoming car.The trailer stopped, I pulled to the side and got out, the driver of the oncoming car sped off, the cars behind me ( the ones I had overtaken earlier) caught up, slowed down at the scene and carried on their journey.I was glad I was fine and very relieved nobody was hurt but I felt completely ashamed of myself. I didn’t care about the car or where I was going anymore.In the days, weeks and months that followed, I kept thinking what could have happened if I had collided with that oncoming car? Who was or were in that car and what could have happened to them? Accidents happen but this would have been completely my fault. That thought makes me sick.As my car was badly damaged and not roadworthy and it was the middle of nowhere on a bitterly cold winter night, the trailer driver ended up giving me a lift in his trailer (you know the one that I thought was too slow for me…) to the nearest town which was my destination.So next time you are driving, be patient, that’s what I do now.

No one really knows. At best humans have some theories, and surely “god did it” is one of them. None of those theories is even close to being a fact though, and your opinion alone, no matter how strong you feel about it, doesn’t change that.Not knowing is fine though. Why do you feel the need to have a definite answer to that? Of course it would be nice to have it, but it isn’t really necessary.Not knowing is honest and sane. You don’t actually know that “god did it”, you just sincerely believe he did as you base your opinion on faith not facts. But remember that “god did it” was the only available answer to many questions before, and many like you accepted it based on faith only to later be humiliated when simpler and more practical answers were found.It is peculiar however that your question is not how but who, and that my friend is either you being a troll, or simply ignorant on how to think critically. Assuming the latter, it seems that you’re only looking for arguments to support your beliefs, not really taking a step back to look at the big picture and try to objectively understand what made some atheists think a certain way.
