House Sitting Contract: Fill & Download for Free

I just retired from the Silicon Valley in December 2019 at age 66. My last few years I spent considerable time planning for where I would live after I retired. I bought books on building a house and researched areas where land was available. Three years before I retired I found and purchased a 1.2 acre lot in the beautiful Texas Hill country located about three miles from the small college town of San Marcos, TX. (Texas State University - San Marcos is five miles from my property.) A year before my time came I found a software engineering contract that I could perform with Cisco (San Jose, CA) from my new home in San Marcos. I sold my home in California and had enough in equity to pay cash for my new home. I then relocated and moved in with a combination of Texas relatives and extended stay hotels while I continued to work for Cisco remotely.While living in a hotel in San Marcos, TX I found a local architect who designed a house for me based on the topographical survey that I had performed. (It was necessary because the terrain is heavily wooded with large trees and it is on a hill.) The house was built to my specifications as a 2500 square foot Italian-villa style house that looks much like a Spanish mission. My architect located a builder for me who lived on the 50 acres across the road from me, He built the house for cost plus 15% with the 15% due only on completion. I got to see all the invoices and approve all the subcontractors. Plus, he let us move into one bedroom and store our furniture in the garage for the one year it took to finish construction.Finally my contract with Cisco went away in September 2019 and I retired and started collecting Social Security in December 2019. The builder left all the exterior landscaping to me and I am still working on that. I just finished a 100 foot long concrete masonry retaining wall and I am about to start building a 12 foot by 60 foot cedar wooden deck in the back of the house. Also, I am planting more trees to replace the ones that were knocked down during construction. I met a girl many years ago through IRC (Internet Relay Chat, it was like…Yahoo Chat before yahoo chat existed. it’s still around!). She was in Colorado Springs, CO, I lived in Toronto at the time. When you are so in tune with someone that they anticipate your movements and the sex becomes a symbiotic intertwining of two people rather than just an awkward, clumsy mechanical exercise, that’s the good sex. Then the crazy started. She’d phone me to make sure i got to work ok. Fine, new city, easy to get lost. Then she’d phone at lunch to see what i was eating. Then she’d phone before i left work. If i took too long to get home, she’d phone to see where I was. I took a day off work one week, and followed her to her office. The “government job” I thought she had? Cashier at a government building cafeteria. The sweet loft she “owned”? long term house-sitting gig. Basically all the elements of her life except me were lies. And she was rapidly becoming crazier by the day. Eventually, the crazy outweighed the awesome sex, and I bailed and went back to canada.So, pro-tip: Find out the crazy, if at all possible, BEFORE you do something huge like move to another country to be with them.ps: Never stick your dick in crazy. Or let crazy stick its dick in you.
