“What do you think of the Kavanaugh allegation, now that his accuser's identity has become public?”I think about the current occupant of the White House and his 8 long years denigrating a sitting president with a pointedly bigoted yet fabricated question about a birth certificate.I think about Merrick Garland and the phony stalling of his nomination for the Supreme Court; which stalling occurred over a whole year without precedent.I think about a president, not yet 2 years into his administration, whose personal lawyer and campaign manager have both pleaded guilty to felonies.I think about a newly elected president who, a month after winning the election, paid $25 million, to settle a lawsuit accusing him of fraud.I think about a president and his Republican party, supposed arch enemies of Communism and Russia, wagging their tail before Vladimir Putin of Russia.America has a Russian puppet for a president and this president has nominated yet another judge to be seated on the Supreme Court of the land.I would not be surprised if the Republican Party and its president proposed for Russian to be the official language of these United States.Kavanaugh's nomination makes me think about all of the above.

CITIZENS OF THAILAND..,Here I am!THAILAND survived despite not colonized by the European Colonial Masters in the old days and also survived the onslaught of Japanese occupation during WW2.Thai people went through 19 coups d’ etat and lived on with their normal lives. Our forefathers had worked hard for us until recently, Thailand has emerged to become one of the economic giants in SE. Asia.Has the development of the country changed the people of Thailand?Wherever you are, you will see Thai citizens in a Thai community in your country and they stand like a sore thumb with some of their traits and behaviors, which are what their forefathers made them be, such as Thai smiles, and a Wai which is their best heritage and identity,Let me address three questions (1) What else are the Thais known for? (2) How do you identify them? (3) Are they made good neighbors, good friends and good to be with?Thai families are close-knit, the Father is known to be a patriarch, a strong pillar of the family, a bread-winner whose motto in life is “I know everything under the sun and you do it as tell you to do, and don’t do what I do”Their sons, from 5 years old, young sons in rural areas amounting to 200,000 to 300,000 yearly, their fathers will send them to boot camps to learn Muay Thai skills. (See below)when the young Thais gradually grow up, they will learn other surviving skills including death - daring acts and being able to take up jobs as careers.Some become boxers, stuntmen, movie stars, sportsmen, zookeepers, taxi drivers while others go the opposite paths and prefer to pursue higher education in big cities and take up careers like engineers, architects, or the Prime Ministers, etc. ( See below)Their daughters, from 6 years old onward, will be sent—practice classical dance classes and help their mothers with cooking skills after school hours.Teenage daughters will advance into sports and pursue their careers in big cities, some do classical dance while others go for the opposite kinds of dance. Many prefer higher education following the aspiration of the Father. (See below)Thai people are known for: calling their dogs and cats- Nong mah and Nong maew. ( Brother dogs and Sister cats)Thais are known to fill up a spoon full of sugar and a spoonful of chili on their food without blinking an eye.All Thai citizens are taught to fear ghosts, all 32 fearsome Thai ghosts but consider Count Dracula a joke. (see below)Thai citizens are known for being the only people whose ID cards alone are not enough to identify themselves. Thais usually carry along with them the house books, the birth certificates to identify when doing a simple transaction at most government offices (I will bring the whole file including details of every single one of my family members). -See below.Thais are known for being loyal consumers of (1) snake brand; prickly heat powder, (2) Nam Man Muay oil, and (3) Hales’s blue boy syrup, as these are standard items in almost every Thai’s home. (See below)Thais are known for being the only people from young to old, men or women who can perform 6 ways or more of Wai gracefully, namely: (1) A Wai to say hello or a welcome. (2) A Wai to say thanks. (3) A Wai to older people. (4) a Wai upon receiving a Wai from others who are a younger (5) A Wai to a monk and ultimately (6) A Wai to a King. (See below)Thais are known to be perfect imitators of superheroes, perform daily tasks ; selling flowers and garlands at the street junction, which makes the real heroes taking their hat off for them. (See below)Thais are known for lovers of all uniforms, you name it—we have it. (See below)Thais are known for being unselfish and generous people and enjoy blasting the sound system for all villagers (or moo baan) to enjoy—not only for their hearing pleasure only.Thai men are known for being a humble family man but in the driver’s seat and behind the wheel is a fearsome monster-like, imaginable… Awesome!Thai men are known internationally to be fearsome Muay Thai fighters, whereas Thai woman masseurs who do Thai massages are never a lesser-known with Muay Thai-look-alike- massage…(See below)Thai monks are known to be revered by many Buddhists, they were shown with many acts of generosity and mercy even when their pick up truck are packed—but the roof is still available. (See below)Thai students are known for their ability to do multi-tasking holding a grab bar with their left hand, while their right hand playing facebook on their mobile phones while taking a Songthaew… The saying goes, “Today’s children will be tomorrow’s adults” (See above)Thai Members of Parliament are known to be self-less and always perform public services till the wee hours, or with a sleepless night, even before the Parliamentary meeting session the morning after.
