The Tiger I and II is a classic example of wasteful development and spending. The Soviets were able to field ten or more T-34’s to every King Tiger tanks Germany put in the field. Truth be told, manufacturing a battle tank few combatants can operate, service, and repair under battlefield conditions is an unacceptable disadvantage which will result in unnecessary loss of life, and contribute to losing the war.
