Can I conceal carry a fixed blade knife in Florida with a concealed weapons permit?

The law is pretty explicit. I suggest you read it yourself.790.06 License to carry concealed weapon or firearm.—(1) The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is authorized to issue licenses to carry concealed weapons or concealed firearms to persons qualified as provided in this section. Each such license must bear a color photograph of the licensee. For the purposes of this section, concealed weapons or concealed firearms are defined as a handgun, electronic weapon or device, tear gas gun, knife, or billie, but the term does not include a machine gun as defined in s. 790.001(9). Such licenses shall be valid throughout the state for a period of 7 years from the date of issuance. Any person in compliance with the terms of such license may carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm notwithstanding the provisions of s. 790.01. The licensee must carry the license, together with valid identification, at all times in which the licensee is in actual possession of a concealed weapon or firearm and must display both the license and proper identification upon demand by a law enforcement officer.[1]This will be covered in any competent concealed weapons training course. My understanding of this law is that it does allow concealing of a knife. In Florida, firearms are preempted by the state from being more tightly regulated by cities or counties[2]. This is not the case with knives or any other non-firearm items listed below. It is important that you learn the applicable local laws pertaining to these things, and act accordingly.Footnotes[1] Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : Online Sunshine[2] Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : Online Sunshine

What are the main crops of your region?

What are the main crops in my region? In the Southeastern U. S., the Florida panhandle and L. A. (not Los Angeles, Lower Alabama), cotton and peanuts reign supreme, mostly because of many years of price supports or farm quota programs used by the U. S. Department of Agriculture to stimulate production of these commodity crops. In rotation, peanut acreage probably exceeds cotton acreage by about 2 to 1. Other row crops include corn, soybeans, and cereal grains to a much lesser extent. Sod farming is also big business, along with produce like melons and tomatoes. There is also a small poultry, beef cattle, and hog production sector in the area. Rumor has it, a lot of marijuana is also grown in the local state forests, but I will neither deny or confirm that of which I don’t know.
