Hello everyone. So here is my experience with club factory. I tried to be objective and unbiased. My general assessment of the app is It is great app, just be smart when choosing products. The worlds written in Italics are more personal thoughts than objective analysis.GENERAL OVERVIEWI recently shopped with Club Factory and I have to give my experience a 7.5 out of 10. When I first stumbled on to the app, the prices really caught my attention. As has been well documented, everything was relatively cheaper compared to other online shopping sites. This is because they club factory connects the buyer directly to the manufacturer thus allowing the buyer to get the goods at factory price. I did more research on the app and there was nothing unusual about the information I found. There were good reviews and also bad reviews of the app but the same can be said about sites such as Flipkart or Myntra or honestly ANY shopping site out there.MY ORDERDue to my research, history shopping on other online shops and a little common sense; I ordered a leather jacket and a digital watch (because I know there is less likely chance that these kind of goods can be damaged in transit). I don’t understand how some people order some fragile items and get surprised when they are damaged in transit. It’s not like the manufacturers make broken goods and send them to you as part of a sick joke lol.After I placed my order. I contacted the Club Factory on Instagram and asked told them about my order. I wanted to stay in contact with them through the whole process. They mentioned that the products would take about 2 weeks to arrive. I also made an inquiry about COD, to which they said it is only available in certain parts of India. which I understood because I found out that Club Factory is a Chinese company. look, I don’t know but i imagine it is quite a complex and tedious process so set up COD payment inside India as an international company that is outside India.My products got delivered to my doorstep 17 days after I ordered(not 14 days like they had said). There isn’t much I can say about the watch, just a regular watch and it worked well. I’ve had it for 3 months and it’s still working well. The shirt however, I’m a medium size but I ordered a large size because I had read about people constantly receiving smaller size products. My gamble did not work lol the shirt was too big for me. However, instead of sending it back, I gave it to my elder brother as a gift. In terms of quality, I got my money’s worth so there are no complaints on that.FINAL THOUGHTSSo Club Factory is a legitimate company, though their process and delivery is quite slow and they do not have COD yet. However, I cannot complain about that because the prices are so low that I do not mind waiting a few days extra to get my products. Would I recommend you to shop on this app, definitely YES. Just be smart and realistic about the products you pick and expect your money’s worth. Again, my final rating of club factory out of 10 is 7.5. I will shop on the app again. IoT works very close to machines to sense the environment, actions and parameters relevant, report these parameters to a backend platform and implement the instructions received from back-end platform to guide the machines. AI and ML are the technologies implemented mostly in back-end platform, but at times in machines also to understand and gain knowledge, to find out the pattern and sort of decide what is the right thing to do..As we are talking about Connected world, it is important for Mechanical engineers to understand how these technologies are implemented in the machines they design, how they will interface with these technologies and how they would expect these technologies to change the areas they are operating.
