A day in my life … 👩‍⚕️ ( I'm a second year MBBS student)Get up at 7:40 (most of us) ,freshen up ,eat a fruit or dryfruits and run to interact where we have theory Lectures starting at 8:00 .8:00 -10:00 - Theory Lectures10–10:30 - a small break in which we have breakfast / 15 min nap / just chill .10:30 - Clinics {we have to be in the hospital wards and take case history of patients (regarding why they were admitted and when.. everything) ,check some responses in them to see their progress.}At about 12:00 one of our seniors ( PGs , JRs , SRs) basically a doctor comes to check the case history and tests we have taken and to teach us more about it.1 PM LunchBy 1:15 PM we are in our rooms for the afternoon naps ..2:00 - 4:00 PM Practicals/Lectures ( Depending on the timetable .)4PM everyone goes to gyms /running/boxing… some Sport and some go off and sleep or netflix .Come back to room ,change and study8 PM dinnerBack to room and study or talk to friends/parents .11:00 PM i go for a walk everynight(My hostel in timing is 12:00 AM luckily :-) )12:00 AM Phone and sleepNow besides this we have a lot of fun when we tamper with our schedules .. Before I became a Manager in IT, I worked the lowly Helpdesk. Oh those were the days. One night, coming in for my shift I noticed an email in my box. I apparently had accidentally been copied by my regional manager onto an email with my direct manager, regarding myself. I had questioned the companies salary system after finding out I was being paid 10k less than my male coworkers, even though I had more experience and responsibility. This led to a radical change in the way management treated me.According to the email, my district manager was warning my immediate manager to be very careful regarding any communications with me, because I knew the company policies backward to front and had a documented case-history of using those policies to wriggle myself out of several poorly laid traps by management. They had formed a habit of trying to build a case for my termination and I, being me, decided fuck that I’m going to fight fire with water and stood my ground by documenting every decision I made with a policy I could point to for reference, in EVERY ticket I generated and report I created. This new manager wasn’t fully aware of the dumbfuckery she had walked into when she was hired to manage me, so she was getting an education by our DM.This information wasn’t surprising, but it was concrete proof of what I suspected and when my contract date expired and I was let go, I used this information to file an unemployment claim and after an appeals process with my company and their lawyer, I sat pretty on unemployment for 99 weeks at their expense. All with a huge smile on my face.
