Yes it is. 500USD for a stupid eligibility check, so yes. I wasn't complete in my answer. I doubt they're around to help you. They don't care about helping , their goal is money money money. The questionnaires you can take on the Canada website ( and that other organisations put up on their websites for free) they offer for 500 USD. And the way they pitch it to you, it seems you are offered way more. Once you got your eligibility check they try to string you along with other things you need to pay for. They don't see the person with two kids and medium income trying to offer the kids a better life. They see dollars. There is no personal approach and no apologies…. They are not legally fraudulent… merely emotionally decapitated. But yes they will suck you dry for every penny you have and you might still end up nowhere. You are better off with visa place (Attorney David Cohen ). They work with flat fees, they approach you more personally and they are way clear in what they offer. I've had several contacts with a woman there and paid 50usd once. They're still expensive ( 2k USD for a study permit..) but at least you know what you're spending it on and you get more info.
