You didn’t specify what this ASA was to be used for.As a Realtor, however, agreements generally require the contracting parties to sign all documents in an agreement.In real estate an ASA form (Additional Signature Addendum) is not used in all states. I believe California (2006) and North Carolina (2015) have added this form. In Florida, where I am licensed to practice, we would use a blank addendum, the Finance Company’s addendum or an attorney.An Attorney would most likely draft a joinder. This is intended to be a simple document whose sole effect is to add an additional person or entity as a party to the original agreement and bind them to the terms of that agreement in their entirety.So to answer your question as best I can, while there may not be a “NEED” for the additional party to sign all of the documents, I would err on the safe and have them sign every page of every document in the agreement.
