A very important job that is often overlooked.One example of the importance of cinematography would be the movie, ‘The Revenant’ (2015). The movie used natural lighting instead of the usual spotlights and lighting systems that are used in studios. In the movie theater, due to the incredibly powerful screen that can translate the lighting, the effects will be accentuated. But watching the same movie on your phone or computer will be incredibly different. A tiny phone/computer cannot retain the natural lighting due to its limitations in strength of the device and the pixels.Try watching this movie from both mediums!
