Costco does not just have more visitors but more customers than Target & Sam’s at least in our local area. Within our home’s proximity, we have 5 Costco stores that are conveniently located nearby. The three stores mentioned in the question don’t carry the same items or brands overall. Costco has its competitive brand of Kirkland with various quality products at bargain prices.Costco and Sam’s are both warehouse clubs offering bulk items that are completely different & are at lower costs than Target which is not a warehouse club.However, Costco in comparison to Sam’s Club has better quality & more items at least products my wife & family need more. Most Costco members are loyal, consistently shop & spend a lot during their shopping. Costco attracts its customers with membership discounts & monthly specials along with their online convenience & specials. Costco also offers home delivery for online grocery shopping.Another Costco attraction is their gas stations found at various locations. We have 3 at our nearby 5 Costcos. Their gas can be at least 20 cents or less per gallon in comparison to other local gas stations. Their hours of operation are flexible enough to avoid long gas lines.Costco also offers a fantastic vehicle tire service. The variety and price of tires can’t be beaten along with their free tire rotation as needed. When that time comes, I normally go shopping and when I’m finished my car tires are all done.Costco also has some tasty but low-cost food within their stores at their food courts. My favorites are ordering a frozen mocha drink along with a turkey sandwich at a bargain price. They have a hotdog & drink special that is $1.50. They have a pizza to go if ordered online or in person. There is also a whole rotisserie chicken for less than $5 along with whole trays of sushi that can’t be beaten for the price & amount of pieces.Costco also offers passport photo service. film development, computer ink cartridge refills, travel services, home improvement, auto purchase discounts, optometry & other services. Their pharmacy has prices of comparable medication at much lower prices. For example, one of my meds costs $71 at Target but at Costco, the numbers are reversed at $17!!!Finally, I’ve been a loyal Costco member for 20 years (2000) & have always been satisfied with their customer service, great staff, & quality/pricing of products. They offer a super rebate with the more you spend, the more you get back in a cash rebate for being a consistent customer in their membership program.

I have a relative who bought a gown at a resale shop for $35 with the original tags still attached. Another girl used an old family bridal gown and remade it to fit her. Another girl bought a resale dress and used the bodice and the fabric to change the look of the dress. Men can now wear dress shirts, ties and slacks or suits. Tux rental is not necessary. Flowers can be silk or natural. Places like Aldi sell inexpensive fresh flowers. You can add a stem wrap of ribbon on a rose or a carnation and it’d be lovely for a bridesmaid. The bride can carry a dozen flowers. You can find tutorials on line on how to make these. Also artificial bouquets are easy and inexpensive to make. Photos can be taken by a friend with a quality digital camera. There are also tutorials on how to take photos on line. Paper products and table coverings can be found at discount stores like Dollar Tree.There are many options for your wedding. I went to a lovely wedding for 125 people at the bride and grooms back yard. They were married by a minister and the meal was delicious. The brides family assisted in preparing and serving the meal. 3 of their friends played music. It was a lovely afternoon and evening. Weather can be a concern of course.You can have family or friends help cater your wedding. I have done this. Here are some inexpensive menu ideas. A picnic style menu of Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and a Roll bought from Sams Club or Walmart. Appetizers can include Veggie trays, meat and cheese trays and other small bites. Ham, mashed potatoes, a veggie, a salad and rolls is an inexpensive menu too, You can have family and friends help cater. A pasta bar is another great idea. The day before ziti pasta can be cooked and placed in disposable pans. Add jarred Alfredo sauce to pans of pasta and jarred Marinara sauce to pans of pasta and these can be choices. Frozen meat balls or cooked Italian sausage can be added. Top with Mozzarella cheese and bake before the reception. A salad and bread complete the meal. Many of these food items can be bought earlier, often while on sale at a grocery store. I helped cater an 11 am wedding and a luncheon recently. The menu included small ham and turkey sandwiches, potato salad, broccoli salad, frozen fruit salad and cole slaw. This event was in a Church Hall. The fruit was frozen grocery store bagged fruit. Often their ladies groups will serve or cater the meal for an inexpensive price. Community buildings or halls and Apartment or Condo communities often have space that they will rent inexpensively. Check if you wish to serve alcohol too. There usually is an additional rental fee for beer and wine to be served at wedding dinners held in halls. Some forbid it. If allowed, the wedding couple will also have to pay the city for a wedding event liquor license.Wedding locations can also include a family members outdoor space, a park with a city permit or a beach with a city permit. I have even been to weddings held in a barn. Your wedding is meaningful, because it is the public announcement of your love and faithfulness. You can have a beautiful and meaningful wedding without extraordinary costs.
