PDF Editor FAQ

Who is the best immigration consultant in India?

Okay, I am just going to be straightforward with all of you because I have worked in one of these “consultancies”. I am not going to BS any of you by sounding smart while talking about ICCRC, RCIC or any alphabet for that matter like the rest of the people answering similar questions that are related to migrating to Canada from India.I don’t recommend going through any of these so-called “immigration consultancies” because they won’t help you much and for the most part, they are out there to snatch the money from your pocket. Canada is the primary focus for most of these consultancies because of it’s simplified immigration program which is Express Entry, obviously. Most of these consultancies “claim” to offer Permanent Residential Visas for Canada by lying about how Canada is better than the Gulf continent or the South East Asian continent (these are for example) by comparing salaries, job statistics .etc and also by exploiting the simple procedures and loopholes in the Express Entry Program that sadly, even the Canadian Government is unaware of.I can’t speak for every immigration consultancy out there but I can talk about Croyez Immigration and their work structure and how they process possible immigrants for immigration. So basically how they attempt to service people that are looking to migrate to Canada is like this. They have a bunch of minions sitting on very basic office computers with very little functionality and they will have to sift through hundreds of names, emails, phone numbers .etc on Google Docs everyday. Those particular people’s information are taken from resumes on job sites such as Naukri, Monster, Indeed .etc and are then used to contact the owners of said resumes. And the owners of those resumes are the common public, which is you. YES, YOU. They will call you everyday forcing you to get a Permanent Residential Visa for Canada.EVEN IF YOU HAVE ZERO INTEREST, YOU WILL BE PESTERED ANYWAY SO MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK ANY CALL FROM THIS COMPANY AND YOU WILL SAVE COUNTLESS HOURS OF WASTED TIME THAT WILL HAVE GONE INTO GETTING YOURSELF SCAMMED OF THOUSANDS OF RUPEES.Okay, so let’s just say you do have an actual interest of moving to Canada. You will be asked to send your resume and then you will have to fill up an Application Form which is an abysmal Word Document file sent to you from Croyez itself. Later after they go through your Application Form and resume that you will eventually send to their email, they will lie to you saying you are eligible and they will ask you to pay a 1000 rupees “Registration Fee” so that they can send your resume and Application Form to the Canadian Government directly for further verification and approval. But what really happens is an administrator working deep inside the company in the Chennai office will be the actual one to receive your documents through another email account inbox and he will verify the Application Form and resume for further approval and procedure. After the fake “Canadian Government” has approved your Application Form and the resume, you will be asked to pay 80,000 rupees in order to obtain a digital signature from your personal or office computer to ensure that the entire visa application process won’t be jeopardized by any minor errors or drawbacks in the future. And then you will be asked to write the standard IELTS exam and then acquire a Educational Credential Assessment certificate from the respective service providers (British Council, IDP India, WES .etc) and then they will try to take another 80,000 rupees by lying about further governmental procedures that take place inside Canada and they will mention that they have no control over what happens in the country of Canada. Six months will have passed and then you will have to let go of your current job here in India, pack up your belongings, leave your home and then move over to Canada where you know nobody and will have to make a new living through a cheap job or a job from your actual field/qualification. It depends on how your cards play out while being fooled by this company.Remember, all the dealings that take place between you and Croyez are through the phone. They will not meet you in person and even if you live in Chennai and manage to visit their regional office, they will have a special person trained in a BPO/Call Center specific vocabulary and accent to sweet-talk you and gradually reel you into their world of deceptions and lies in order to make you pay the entire fee structure for the Permanent Residential Visa for Canada. There is literally no guarantee that you will get a job similar to your actual Indian job in Canada. Croyez will make guarantees and promises that you will be an esteemed client for the next 7 years after you pay the service charges but you will be left in the wilderness while knowing nothing about a country that you would be stuck in and working a job smaller than what you used to work back in India. And truthfully speaking, you won’t be able to find a way back to your previous life in India.Majority of the older employees working here are engineering graduates from S A Engineering College/ Panimalar Engineering College .etc. I can’t post information of their Facebook accounts or images or else I would be violating certain guidelines but I can tell you that they are obviously placed in this company via a placement scheme by the higher authorities of these particular colleges. They have no proper education and come from really poor backgrounds. I am not bragging to be smarter than all of them but I am telling you the facts. Their jobs consist of sitting by a computer from 10 AM to 6 PM and talking on the phone constantly in either Tamil or half- baked English. They also recently began hiring freshers from other colleges and they have a training period of 2 weeks (they will state 1 month in the Employee Agreement but since the organizational structure is similar to that of a call center, the actual training period is only 2 weeks)Okay, supposing all this explanation isn’t enough, I can provide more evidence for you.Take a look at their official site. Browse around for at least a minute.Best Immigration Consultants in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IndiaFirst thing you see is an auto-playing video that isn’t even produced or created by anyone from Croyez Immigration. It’s a random instructional video by the Canadian Government. Look at how terrible and lackluster their website design is. Also note that they have a dedicated tab and drop-down list for Canada alone with various sub-topics. Now take a wild guess as to why is it so?They also claim to offer immigration services for multiple common countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Germany .etc See how the ‘Z’ in New Zealand isn’t even in capital letter. Now guess why they have a lot of countries in their service roster? It’s only because they can trick you into thinking they actually provide immigration services for multiple nations and also so that they can pass themselves off as a “genuine immigration consultancy” by making up all these false claims and stories about themselves. Now scroll to the bottom of the page and look at the year. It says 2016. The page hasn’t been updated for the past 3 years. Now this is plenty enough to give you a good imprint of their internal organization structure. Now look at their official Twitter feed. What do you see?Croyez (@croyezmigration) | TwitterA bunch of nonsensical posts with pictures of happy Caucasian people with shiny white teeth and sharply dressed clothes with the badly designed logos of Croyez and poorly written slogans in bad sizes and fonts with way too many meaningless hashtags to boost the number of views per post. Notice how they have more numbers in Following and less followers. Also take note that they have re-tweeted from other rival immigration consultancies like Visas Avenue for example.Do I have to show you more to make you understand or did you already get what this is all about? If everything I have shown you so far actually begins to make sense, then yes. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BY RANDOM STRANGERS CALLING YOUR PHONE.Don’t believe these immigration companies stating to provide you with “the best immigration services”, “No. 1 immigration service in India”, “worldwide immigration” and all the obvious nonsense. Use your brain and conduct your own research online to read about how you can get into the Express Entry Program by self. If you have basic education, common sense, logical reasoning and a sharp eye for detail, then rest assured, your money will be in your hands alone. If these people call you, just hang up or report them to the police. Good luck. I hope I have helped.

In the 9th paragraph of the MEXT scholarship undergraduate form, “specialized field of study in high school” is mentioned. What should I write in there?

You need to write what you truly took as courses, which were specialized beyond what was required by your high school and what was required by the regular curriculum. These would be the classes you were allowed to take in order to broaden your studies beyond basic education expected by the school and the laws passed in the country in which you live.I do not know the country in which you attended high school, but I assume you know what you took which was for a basic high school education, AND…. what courses you chose as electives to focus on interests you had beyond the required curriculum.MEXT Scholarship Application Form: Step-by-Step | TranSenz: MEXT Scholarship and Visa Information for Moving to JapanHomeEducation In JapanMEXT Scholarship Application Form: Step-by-StepMEXT Scholarship Application Form: Step-by-Step2015年11月5日 Education in Japan, MEXT, Scholarships in Japan 283 CommentsIMPORTANT UPDATEMEXT Overhauled its application form beginning with the 2018 Embassy-Recommended Scholarship Application Process, so some of the information below is no longer accurate. Click here for a step-by-step instructions for the new application form, plus a downloadable sample!THE (OLD) FORMThe English translations on the MEXT scholarship application form are confusing at best- and sometimes downright misleading. I used to have two pages of correction bullet statements to copy/paste and send to applicants (most of which were about question 7).One mistake on the form might force you to have to re-complete and re-send the form by expensive international express mail, depending on how your university handles it.By following the question-by-question instructions in this article, you can be sure that your application form will clear review with no problem. So, let’s get started.BASIC INSTRUCTIONSSample MEXT Scholarship Application Form – Page 1 (click for pdf download)Type the application if at all possible. This isn’t only about clarity, but if you type every entry on a page, you can sometimes make corrections by email. If you handwrite any portion of a page, you will have to make all corrections by post.If you must handwrite, use block (all capital) letters and black ball-point pen. Other colors are not considered official in Japan.Use Arabic numerals (e.g. 1, 2, 3). Do not use any other type or write out numbers in text. All years must be in AD (also called CE). This goes for any of your supporting documents, too! If your country uses a different year system (Buddhist, Muslim, Coptic, Japanese, etc), make sure you translate those into AD. (e.g. 2015)Do not abbreviate proper nouns (e.g. cities, countries, school names.)If you have to make corrections, it’s best to start over and recreate a clean form. But if that’s not possible, cross out the error with two horizontal lines through the text and write the correction above.I highly recommend submitting two copies of the form: One printed double-sided, as per the instructions, and one printed single-sided. Having a single-sided version may just save you from having to resend the application by express post in case corrections become necessary!APPLICATION FOR JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) SCHOLARSHIP – PAGE 11. NAME IN FULL IN NATIVE LANGUAGEThis must match your passport (if written there) or birth certificate. You cannot leave out any names, such as patronymics, “bin” or “binti”, middle names, etc.If your passport does not specify surname/family name and given names, then use your own discretion to separate themIf English is your native language/script, be sure to fill in this blank in English (block capitals!), even if the next line is identical! If you can’t type your name in your native language in the form, try to insert it using other software or handwrite it after printingVietnamese applicants: Write your names in the order they appear on your passport, even though that means your “given” and “middle” names will be in the opposite spacesIN ROMAN BLOCK CAPITALSSame as above. Double-check your passport, especially if you’re from Russia or a former Soviet Republic – sometimes you have middle names that appear only in Cyrillic, so leave those out in the English section.SEXStraightforward- just don’t forget to check one!MARITAL STATUSMake sure to check this one, too.2-1. NATIONALITYEnter the name of the country not the adjective. For example, write “USA” not “American.”If you have multiple nationalities, write the one for the country you live in/ the passport you will use when you enter Japan2-2. JAPANESE NATIONALITYIf you have multiple nationalities and one if Japanese, you are not eligible for the scholarship unless you revoke your Japanese nationality.3. DATE OF BIRTH AND AGE AS OF APRIL 1 [OF SCHOLARSHIP YEAR]For the month, day, and year, use all numbers- do not write out month names.Age: About one quarter of applicants get this wrong! It is not your current age, but the age that you will be on April 1 of the year you start the scholarship. If your birthday falls between the date that you fill in the form and April 1, you need to add a year to your age.Note: In Japan, as in most Western countries, you are age 0 when born. If you come from a country that counts babies as age 1 at birth, you are going to need to convert.PHOTOGRAPHPlease see the instructions in the supporting documents article for instructions regarding the photograph. Paste – do not staple – one photograph in the square given here.4. PRESENT STATUS WITH THE NAME OF THE UNIVERSITY ATTENDED OR EMPLOYERThis one is also a constant source of confusion. You need to fill in two things here:If you are currently enrolled in a university, write “Student at [university name]”If you are not enrolled in a university and you are working full time, write: “[Job title] at [company name]”If you are not enrolled in a university and not working full time, then your status is “Unemployed.”Note: “Recent Graduate,” “Fresh Graduate,” etc. are not acceptable statuses.5. PRESENT ADDRESS, TELEPHONE/FACSIMILIE NUMBER, AND E-MAIL ADDRESS.Write your present address so that if I write that on an envelope and nothing else, the letter will reach you- that means you need everything from your room number up to your country nameNote: Be sure to write in English! (I used to get addresses in Chinese or people who write an overseas address in katakana – don’t do that!)Telephone (include the country code!) and email are straightforward. Don’t worry if you don’t have a fax machine- that’s not required.6. FIELD OF SPECIALIZATION STUDIED IN THE PAST (BE AS DETAILED AND SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE)The scholarship eligibility criteria require that your field of study in Japan match what you have studied before, so when you fill in this question, write your past studies in such a way as to sound as similar to your proposed field of study as possible. The biggest problem I saw with this field was leaving it blank. Don’t do that.7. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND (PAGE 2)Sample MEXT Scholarship Application Form – Page 2 (click for pdf download)The academic background table only makes sense if you know how the Japanese education system works and exactly what they’re looking for. Here’s what those confusing directions really want:PRIMARY EDUCATION, ETC.Japan’s education system follows a 6-3-3-4 pattern: Six years of elementary, three each of lower and upper middle, then four years of college.Regardless of how schooling is broken up in your home country, you’re going to be expected to write it according to the Japanese pattern. It can be 6-2-4-4, 5-3-4-4, or any other pattern, but make sure you divide your schooling into each of the categories on the table- only the “graduate” row is optional. That means that even if your elementary and middle school was the same school (or if your lower- and upper- middle school) was the same physical school, you should divide it up on the chart.IF YOU ATTENDED MULTIPLE SCHOOLS FOR ONE ROW:In the “name” field, write “multiple – see attachment” and attach a paper with an identical style table, but with rows only for the level of schooling you need to explain. For example, if you attended two high schools, then your attachment would have two “high school” rows and nothing else.On the attached paper, fill in each of the fields as explained below.Back on the application form: Leave the “location” blank in the form (fill it in on the attached paper).Complete the “from” field with the date you started your first school and “to” with the date you finished the last school. The “Duration of Attendance” should be the total time for all schools attended for that row. Calculate each separately on the attached paper and then add them together here.In the right-hand column, write that you transferred schools, and the reason. You should also fill in this same information in the attachment.SCHOOL NAMERemember, no abbreviating proper names.LOCATIONWrite only the city and country name (still no abbreviations).YEAR AND MONTH OF ENTRANCE AND COMPLETIONThe “From” date is the date that the school year started in your first year and the “To” date is the last day of the school year. These dates may not necessarily match the dates you were in class.Check your transcript and your graduation certificates. If there are dates written on those certificates, then the dates in your form must match! If you don’t know the exact dates, try to contact the school- most keep that sort of thing on record. In the worst case scenario and you can only find out the month, that should be enough, but fill in the 1st, middle, or last day of the month, whichever is closest.Haven’t graduated yet? Fill in the month and day that you are scheduled to graduate. This date must match whatever is written on your certificate of expected graduation.YEARS AND MONTHSThis field is the probably the most difficult to get right on the whole form.“Years” should be school years. In Japan, the official school year starts on April 1 and ends on March 31 (even though class dates are different). So, in Japan, primary school is exactly 6 years, for example, and Monbukagakusho doesn’t understand any other system, so you should match this style. If your school year starts in September and ends in June, like in the US, you should still count that as 1 school year when you fill in the table. So, if you started High School on September 1, 2010 and finished on June 30, 2014, that is 4 years and 0 months, not 3 years and 10 months.“Months” is anything less than a full school year. If you finished a semester early, or a semester late, you would enter that in the “months” category.Note: The number in “months” should be less than 12. I saw a lot of applicants write “4 years and 48 months.” Don’t do that. When you add up the total time spent at the bottom of the table, note that there is no months category, so you’ll have to convert months to a decimal. So, 15 years 6 months becomes 15.5 years.DIPLOMA OR DEGREE AWARDED, MAJOR SUBJECT, SKIPPED YEARS/LEVELSMost people won’t need to fill in anything in this field for Primary or Secondary. If you skipped a grade, took a year off school, transferred schools, etc., then you should fill that in.If you went to a specific science high school, or something like that, you could fill that in, too. But in most cases, it’s not necessary. For the Undergraduate Level (and Graduate Level, if applicable), fill in your Major and Minor and the name of your degree.PAGE 3 – THE HARD PART IS OVER, JUST A FEW TRICKS LEFT!Continue reading on the link above in this post:MJP

What would happen if the IT industry collapsed in India? What would happen if world-wide companies stopped outsourcing to India? What would the state of the Indian economy be? What would happen to Bangalore, in particular?

Before 2010, this question deserved a very different answer. But today, things have radically changed.Let's first check the vital statistics of the IT industry in India. In 2015,Total revenues = $ 146 billion (of which $ 48 b was domestic)Total number employed = 35 lacs (directly employed professionals) (3.5 m)Total number employed indirectly = 1 crore (other than technical) (10 m)So Total employment = 1.35 crore max (1% of India's population 1.3 b)Top company (TCS) accounted for 10% of the industry revenues, and the Top 10 accounted for 36%.Largest private sector employer is from this sectorContribution to India's GDP = approximately 9.5%Globally, it claims a 12% market shareLearning from the above statistics -Concentration of economic activity and wealth is amazingly high, catalysed by this sector. This is a reflection of the global trend.Wherever this sector goes (cities), everything becomes suddenly expensive!Per capital opportunity is perhaps the highest among all professional sectors in IndiaDirect benefit to Indian economy is through (a) consumer spending of the directly employed professionals, (b) creation of certain best practices that are utilised across other sectors, (c) ease of integrating technology with local governments (Centre / State / Lob, and of course (d) through the indirect employment generationIndirect benefits are plenty - spurt to Indian ingenuity and absorption of the really talented, global showcasing of India's potential, integration with the biggest and mightiest corporates around the around, digital housekeeping for the world, creation of a local practices pool that can be used for a bigger vision, etc.Full credit to the pioneers of this sector, starting with Bhishma Pitamah Shri F C Kohli, for creating this very vibrant ecosystem in India. The GoI is now leveraging that confidence fully in its future vision, as we will see in a moment. But, the real story begins now. The India Stack, and how India can break through. The arrival of the Modi government seems to have put the spotlight firmly on this sector. All major transformational initiatives like DIGITAL INDIA and E-GOVERNANCE are now being built around digitising transactions through JAM TRINITY and building an INDIA STACK, as it is called. (That was one jargon-filled sentence! Sorry.)India Stack - The really big story - And I doubt it would have been possible without the presence of this hugely vibrant IT sector in India. What is it? The combined initiative of UIDAI, CCA, DeitY, and NPCI which has created a unified, integrated layer of digital tools and services (or information system highway) is called the India Stack. Similar to the creation of the Internet (based on TCP/IP stack), where browsers and applications form the front end for access, here too the private sector players can focus on building customer facing solutions that ride on India Stack. [ a good analogy of innovation possible is Uber which uses the building blocks of GPS, Google Maps, electronic payment and smartphone - none of which Uber built nor owns ]So what will India Stack do? It will lead to the (possibly) successful implementation of the grandest government vision so far (sorry if I sound like a government ambassador - I am not) to digitise, simplify, speed-up and transform services delivery to citizens, and overall governance. Yes, the Digital India vision. So, long story short - eliminate the IT sector from India and you eliminate these -The Digital India vision - we'll need to buy all the standards and softwares from foreigners to build it now. Well, almost!Bye bye, JAM Trinity - The Jan-Dhan + Aadhar + Mobile combo that is starting to deliver benefits to the poor directly through handsets (a true revolution) had its major pieces put in place by indigenous IT and Telecom pioneers. The India Stack - perhaps the largest publicly owned (not corporate-owned) standards-set globally. It can democratise business and entrepreneurship like nothing else can. So no more India Stack.Go the paper way - triplicate and quadruplicate copies of each document please, and stand in the queue quietly there. And yes, the 1 crore plus unemployed talented people who'll come on to Quora running an ideas riot (that'd be good, actually!)You decide. Thanks!Sources - Nasscom, IBEF, the Internet, Government sites.p.s. I am not focussing on the present profitability or market-dynamics of specific companies nor their future prospects. My aim was to try and see what the IT sector (as on date) means for India as a nation, in light of emerging governance challenges. Companies may come and companies may go.
