It’s a detriment. A massive detriment.But, the Democrats had to run something this year. So, they made sure the candidates they presented wouldn’t lose so badly as to truly destroy the Party. Or so goes the rationale at the time.The schisms within the Democratic Party however, have grown so deep and so numerous that the coming defeat in November may well be that feared shattering one.The Democratic Party has embraced the rioters. At the very least it has failed to condemn them and one Democratic mayor after another has given them free reign to run riot through their cities. The premise being it’s all about “systemic police bias” and that our justice system is racist toward blacks. Thus the rioting is somehow justified.So, the Democrats then chose to run a “tough on crime” presidential candidate who’s history of composing Federal crime policies put tens of thousands of black Americans in jail. And then the Democrats compounded this by announcing the vice presidential candidate who used Biden’s laws to jail thousands of black San Franciscans on “drug crimes” while she herself used the same illegal drug, pot, that she jailed those blacks for. That, plus her prosecutions were horribly politically motivated. Thus demonstrating exactly the sort of “law enforcement” that BLM started out protesting against.The negatives Biden/Harris present are entirely avoidable had the Democrats anointed some other candidates this year. But, the die was long ago cast for it to be Joe. And now they’re stuck with him.I think they chose Harris as a means of paying off dues the Democratic Party has incurred among its black political class for their turning out the black community to vote Democratic on such a regular basis. The powers-that-be within the Democratic Party can not point out their identity politics checklist as being properly “woke” by having selected a black female for the vice presidential slot.And when the Democrats lose this November, those same powers-that-be can be righteous in blaming the “woke” crowd for being the cause and thus be free to purge them from the Party’s leadership positions.A Buttigieg/ Gabbard ticket would’ve been far, far more difficult for Trump to have run against. But, those powers-that-be had already settled on Biden.

(BLM and Antifa)forcing political agendas out into the open.exposing media bias and the failure of investigative journalism.Pulling the US out of international commitments that conflict with our treaties and our constitution.increasing american standing worldwide as a symbol of hopeincreasing domestic patriotism and solidarity against exploitationrevealing 99% of the country does not have the issues the other 1% has, and that 1% is rioting from its local leadership decisions.ok, keep this in context. 6% of the deaths only came from COVID while it cause lethal complications in pre existing conditions in the remaining 94%. Most mandated masks are ineffective and the federal government has had the right mask, fit, and wear instructions on the OSHA website for 3 years, the same instructions and regulations medical staff and epidemiologists must follow. Media bias again. And how long did the one party outlaw the use of the internationally recognized drug treatment regiment established by France? And how many died from governors fighting against federal suggestions and forcing infected inyo facilities full of high risk patients and inadequate staff or capabilities? States rights vs federal rights. State decisions killed most of those patients. I have stayed on top of this because my father died from several criminally negligent Governor’s decisions.And, this is the short list. With the Fed admitting their economic decisions were in error and prevented at least 2% in additional growth not realized since 2016, imagine what the next 4 years will provide.Now, with a clean and effective administration. Positive records at every turn. And all the problems in our country directly linked to the opposition party. I can only assume this was meant to be a gotcha question that just backfired on you.
