Tell your social worker and any judge you come before that your sister is the only family you have left and that you want her to be in your life always. Tell the social worker that you love your sister.Keep a journal about the visits you have with your sister. If you and your sister are in the same foster care home keep a daily dairy on your sister's progress. Date each entry.Record details about her first steps, first words, first pair of shoes, what foods she eats, places she visits with you and the foster parents.If you sing to her, write a journal entry about it, how she responded to you, was she comforted by you, etc. Show journal to the social worker, attorneys, judge. Keep it in order. If you fill one notebook journal and must start a second journal, label the inside cover and/or exterior cover as “Journall #1,” and write next to this the dates from first entry to the last recorded in it. For example, “Journal #1, January 1st, 2021- March 26th, 2021.” Then, begin the second journal, “Journal #2, March. 27th, 2021 - __________" Leave a space to add in the last date of the second journal. Later, when you begin a third journal, label in the same manner.Keep these journals in a safe place. You can show them to your social worker and ask she photocopy pages on each visit to place in your files.What you are doing is creating two things. You are making a record you can refer back to and one that your caretakers and attorneys and even the judge can use to gain perspective of what is the course for the best plan for you and your sister.Also, when you are needing to be precise you will have a reference to refer back to in order to clarify dates for doctor appointments, dental appointments, illnesses, meetings, development progress for you and your sister. Also, these journals can be very interesting and useful for your sister when she is older. She has you to remember for her years she will need to make sense of as she grows up or after she grows up.Tell her daily that you love her.Ask God to guide you in all you do.Think positively as to what you can do to be good, true, of excellent character and know the only thing a human ever owns in life is his or her character and integrity or a lack of integrity, and we certainly want to strive to be both good and true in order to have integrity with our Lord Jesus and those united because of Him. It is because of God we do anything good and true. We are His instruments in physical bodies.When we approach our lives knowing that we become strong, and we are able to see that truth speaks for itself, love is stronger than misunderstandings. Be devoted, true and a person of your word. Let your words reflect the sincerity of your heart. You need your sister, and she needs you. Be there for her.If your sister is ever separated from you, write a letter everyday addressed to her. Always date each page of the letter. Still keep writing the journals even then if that separation should happen. But we will certainly pray this never happens and that a loving and good family adopts you both.You might want to write a separate letter to her foster parents telling them you do not want to be separated from your sister.Whatever you do, make sure you keep up with your sister's whereabouts, her complete address, mailing address, phone numbers, fax numbers, email of her caretakers. These can change very quickly, so ask periodically if any of the contact information has changed.Keep a notebook with journal entries. Keep addresses and contact information in the notebook as well.Keep information in order, and print, not cursive, each entry so it is easily read, is legible.You need names and contact information, such as mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses of anyone interested in adopting her and not you and those who are interested in adopting you both.Make sure you have the phone numbers of social workers or caseworkers.You tell the judge that you do not want to be separated from your sister, that you love her, and she is your blood family. It is possible to find someone to adopt both you and your sister.I am so sorry you have gone through this anxiety. Stay calm. Try to help in your sister's care wherever you are. If you are in th same home, help feed her, protect her, keep her safe from sharp edges, electrical outlets, ponds, pools, stairs, cars, falls of any sort. Keep yourself safe as well. Practice safety in all you do.Guard your thoughts. Think good thoughts. Ask God direct you to do good in all you think, speak and do and help you build integrity so that when you give your word in matters that are honorable you be honorable.Read up on baby safety so you will be informed and use that knowledge to help care for your sister.Clean up after yourself.Keep yourself clean.Take care of your teeth and body hygiene.Stay hydrated.Make sure your sister stays hydrated too.Keep up after all homework.Make your bed daily.Keep your belongings organized and in order.Keep your bathroom and bedroom clean and in order.Keep your journal up-to-date recording dates for each entry.Write down details of all appointments you or your sister have with dentists, pediatricians, social workers, therapists, teachers, etc.Remember write full names, addresses, phone numbers, titles, date when seen and what for in the journal.Many things can happen, and this journal can help you remember answers you may need later on.Make photos of your sister daily. Make photos of yourself daily. Make photo of you holding your sister.Try to make three photos daily while you are going through this. One photo of you, one of your sister and one of you holding your sister. Keep these in a file you can show the judge or social worker or potential adoptive families later. These keep a record of your progress and growing years.Do you have grandparents or aunts and uncles you trust? Write their names, addresses and phone numbers in your notebook and share these with judge, social workers, attorneys.Do you have any older cousins you know about? You can contact aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and ask if you and your sister might live with them. Make sure you trust them first before you ask.Ask about the schools where they live.Are the schools and library within walking distance of their home?Do they have pets?If so, find out if you are allergic to cats or dogs or rabbits or horses?Are they in a neighborhood with sidewalks and safe roads for bikes and roller skates?Do they live in the country?Stay focused and calm.Be good and true to yourself.Build within you a good character, a strong integrity and trust.If you have more questions, ask.

Here's one that I haven't seen elsewhere. Let just ONE column contain 2 or more kinds of data.Situation: You have a long list of customer transactions, one transaction per row. You have included separate columns for phone number, email, fax number and customer nic-name. That's four columns. This data isn't used in any of the calculations; its just handy to have it in front of you when you are talking to the customer, need to send a quick email, etc. But it takes up 4 columns and makes the sheet awkward to use.Typical Remedy: Concatenate all the data into a cell in another columns, then hide the other columns. Or else just hide the columns and then unhide when needed. That's no good, in the first case, you now have one big fat column instead of 4 smaller ones, and you've added to the workload. In the second case, you have to hide, unhide, hide, unhide, etc.A Better Solution: In the column header, click a drop down for what you want to see. Column data changes to show the data you need: nic-name, phone, email, etc. depending on what you selected from the drop down. Need to quickly switch the data? Just click and pick.The Setup: The customer information (name, address, phone, etc.) is stored on a separate sheet of the workbook. Call the sheet CUSTDATA. The transaction data is on another sheet. Call it TRANS. Customer data appearing in TRANS is pulled by a lookup formula in CUSTDATA.Important: On both sheets, the headers for columns referring to customer data are given the exact same name. Thus Customer Name, Phone, Email, etc. will be used on the column headers for both sheets.The Lookup: Use a 3 dimensional INDEX(MATCH) formula. The typical argument for INDEX and MATCH is:INDEX(array1,MATCH(value1,array2,0),value2))Where the arrays are named ranges and value is either a hard coded value or a cell reference that returns a value.The "trick" for the 3rd dimension is to replace value2 with another MATCH formula that refers to column header:Thus, the value in match is replaced with a static cell reference, such that:MATCH(cellref,array,0)And the full formula now appears as:INDEX(array1,MATCH(value1,array2,0),MATCH(cellref,array3,0,))Where cellref refers to the header name,and array3 refers to a named range, being the row containing all column headers.The Drop Down: On TRANS, put a drop down list in the column header. The list will contain the names in the column headers, such as, Phone, Email, Nic-Name, etc. They must be entered exactly as they appear on the worksheets (but upper or lower case doesn't matter)In Operation: The lookup formula will refer to whatever value you selected in the drop-down, allowing you to toggle between however many names you set up. Of course, you'll only see one set of data at a time, but that's normally not a problem.This method will give you the data you want to lookup, but require only one formula to do it.And not only that, it doesn't matter if you add or move columns on either worksheet; the formulas will always look for the target reference, because it is looking for a value, not a cell location.One Gotcha: Make sure that is you ever change a header name, you also change it everywhere else it is used.Hope that helps.
