The third is that Need for Speed has never been that great, more known for quantity than quality. Racing games therefore looked and felt more realistic than anything else in the PS1 era and looked and felt pretty awesomely realistic in the PS2 era. Meanwhile by the PS3/XBox 360 era Nathan Drake, Commander Shepherd and others were all looking at least decently realistic. They weren’t perfect (neither were the cars of course) but were decent enough approximations so racing games lost their edge in terms of looks in the PS3/XBox era and it was entirely gone in the current console era, pushing racing games into a much smaller (and hence lower comparative budget) niche.The next issue is that Need for Speed might be the largest selling racing game franchise, but that doesn’t mean it’s ever been great. It’s always been quantity over quality, with 17 main Need for Speed games released on Playstation between 1997 and 2013, and no entry in the franchise has ever achieved a 90 Metacritic rating (Wikipedia claims a 95% GameRankings for the Saturn port of the original NFS - but that’s based on just one single review. And it’s the Sega Saturn). On the other hand in the late PS1 and through the PS2 era it was at first a very solid franchise with six of the seven games between 1998 and 2005 scoring in the mid 80s on Metacritic and the seventh helpfully branding itself with the name of a car manufacturer so you knew it was the worst. I don’t believe it was a coincidence that Need for Speed: Carbon was both the first Need for Speed game designed for the PS3, and the first in a run of games to fail to make 80 on Metacritic. And when Need for Speed did make it back into the 80s with Need for Speed: Shift it was by changing sub-genre from arcade racing to full on simulation (which of course wants more powerful hardware).Need for Speed picked back up over the next few years with Shift and its sequel, and EA handing other parts of the franchise to Criterion Games, best known for the PS2-era Burnout series and its single PS3 sequel the open world Burnout Paradise, leaving the franchise on a high. Criterion then developed Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) and Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012), both with metacritic rankings in the 80s. Of course this made it seem like Need for Speed had a renaissance round 2010 with a run of good games.Slightly Mad Studios after Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2 decided to leave EA’s clutches to develop Project CARS and EA gave Need for Speed to Ghost Games (a.k.a. EA Gothenberg), probably for cost reasons. After all the franchise was stable with four solid games in a run.This was a mistake. Ghost Games developed Rivals with the help of Criterion and the best platform metacritic ranking was an 80. Which makes it fairly comfortably Criterion’s worst Need for Speed game - and Ghost Games’ best. The three subsequent Need for Speed games developed by Ghost Games have PS4 Metacritic rankings of 66, 61, and 72. For some reason I can’t quite work out EA are doing their studio-closing thing with Ghost Games and giving Need for Speed back to Criterion…

I believe in killing 2 birds with one stone and my this belief resembles in my habits.I constantly following 3 habits which made quite an improvement in my life. Typing your daily experience (Digital Journal)In my opinion every person must write journal. It helps you to Learn , Observe and Correct your mistakes. By constantly reading his/her past experiences. He/she can change his/her future or at least try to change it.But instead of writing it if you start typing it will make huge difference.Benefits :-It increases your typing speed.It will save all the money that you are going to spend on the notebooks.It’s indirect but you will contribute in saving trees/plants and many more. Just do it already.2. Reading novel/books 2 hours daily (From 4.00 Am to 6.00 am)One’s you started reading you will feel like you have entered into a new world . This world is full of great vocabularies and excellent phrases. These vocabularies and phrases will help you to improve to write better.I know you are upset with the time but let me tell you according to research this the best time to learn anything new. Since books are full of great material in my perspective this is the best time.And why 2 hours…. So our life is limited and there are great books available so if you planning to read 1 or 2 books for 1 month then its no use. So here what will happen if you spend 2 hours daily on books.CALCULATION :-Most of the books are of approx 200 pages and i have experienced that in 2 hours you can read at least 50 pages.200 Pages/50 Pages = 4 days30 Days / 4 Days = 7-8 books8 * 12= 96 booksSo by only spending 2 hours you can read 7 to 8 books per month and by the end of the year 96 books.So after 2–3 years you can build your own bookshelf.3. Listening to Ted talks (while traveling):-yeah..!!! you heard it right. Convert popular ted talks into Mp3 format using Youtube to Mp3 converter and start listening while traveling. They are much more interesting than your normal music/songs. They are best time killers and everyday you will gain some new knowledge.Make it happen.These 3 habits is specially designed to improve my English in first place and it helped me to improve it with tremendous success rate.That’s it.
