Metro Scholarship Application Form: Fill & Download for Free

SBI (state bank of India)Recently SBI revised their minimum account balance policy or scam and due to which bank had earned a huge money from Middle class to poor who barely have so much money to save in those accounts.SBI collects Rs235 crore in minimum balance fine in 1st quarterSince this new scam had been applied i lost almost ₹ 500 ( I accept it was my mistake, I should have maintained my balance ) but before all this only ₹1000 was required as minimum balance, but by either means i was supposed to be fined, I was suppose to deposit ₹2000 more to reach the minimum balance limit.Now minimum balance requirements are as follows:₹3000 for Urban/metro cities (I live in urban mumbai)₹2000 for semi-urban₹1000 for rural.My account was saving account so i had to maintain ₹3000 to avoid those charges, but wait why should I maintain ₹3000 for that bank who barely have good customer service, and wastes my hours to do simple transactions. I opened SBI saving account to receive scholarship money, as our college told us to give only SBI bank account details, so closing this account would not have solved my issue. And maintaining ₹3000 is difficult for meso to counter this I tried to find different alternatives, and i found SBI BASIC SAVING ACCOUNT(zero balance account), many of you would be knowing about this but this is the solution for many who don’t have fixed income and always falls under minimum balance limit. so after knowing all requirements i reached my home branch and asked one senior employee to convert my saving account to basic saving account, he was supposed to give me an application form but he totally refused saying Basic saving account is for only minors and senior citizens but, In the requirements there was no such rule.Basic Savings Bank AccountSo I argued about it and showed him above SBI link and after wasting few more minutes he said write an application on blank paper and submit it, and after waiting in long queue I submitted application to him, and after a week he changed my account status to Basic Saving Account, at the same time I also had submitted application to change my contact number but three weeks have been gone and still they didn’t updated my new number.Though this account have some limitations but for those who have less transactions per month it is best way to tackle that minimum balance issue. Monthly maximum 4 withdrawals are free and above 4 transactions a nominal fee will be charged.Bank wants only those customers who can store a lot of money in their bank so that they can lend it as loan and earn interest on it.When I visited the bank to convert my account I had seen many people complaining about balance deduction in their account and they all were told to maintain a minimum balance of ₹3000. No other solution.If you find anyone who is also facing this issue just tell them about Basic saving account, this account is for everyone, no age limit, no upper balance limit and available at all branches. Banks hesitate to tell you about this and will try to deny about this account but this is all their scam to get more money deposited in their normal saving account.

Our country may not be the best for women but it certainly is not the worst.There are a lot of things which can be done for improving the situations of women in this country but the change is happening, slowly but consistently.So meanwhile, let’s count all the perks of being a woman in India:Most of the laws are in favor of women in our country. We are brought up to be caring for people around us.Let’s also not forget the wheatish and dusky skin we’re blessed with along with gorgeous black tresses, which many women from other countries wish for.People in India are more trusting of women as compared to men in general. For example, if a woman reports domestic violence, she would be trusted but if a man reports domestic violence, the authorities will be cynical at first.There is a great diversity of cultures in India so it gives us women a chance to dress in numerous ways. While you’re expected to dress up traditionally while going to a temple or in a small town, you have the choice to wear a Bikini in certain places in Goa. Most of the major cities in India are now accepting of women dressing the way they want to.We get fee waivers in certain colleges, admission forms, and government job application formsWe can get past in the women Queue while buying a ticket, especially when the Queue for men is really long.While getting down a train, you can get help from a fellow male passenger if your luggage is too heavy. In most cases, they would help.We get free drinks and cocktails on special days in the clubs.We get reserved seats and coaches in Public transport. Next time you’re complaining about getting on the ladies coach of a metro in Rajiv Chowk, think about what guys go through at the same place.We can choose to work or be a housewife, and in most cases, no one will judge you because both are fairly acceptable in India.And last but not least, we can wear absolutely gorgeous Indian dresses, accessories and jewelry to look like a Queen on certain occasions.Sunakshi Sinha
