In 10th marksheet his name is mentioned in abbreviated form and in complete name in all other documents..I was worried if there would be any issue..so I searched online for any possible solution to this problem but found only confusing and misleading solutions.Then I contacted passport seva help line no.(best source for any query regarding passport) & they told that both are same names and same person and I need not do anything.But still to be on safer side I prepared an affidavit for 100 INR stating both names are of same person.On my second appointment at passport seva kendra..there were no issues.They verified the names and did not object.Hence, I would answer this question by saying No, it should not create any problem.
