I have been living outside India for almost 2 years in Germany and in the long run planning to return and live in India.Main reasonsLanguage - Most of the european countries have their own language which is very close to their heart. It is very difficult to adjust and understand their way of living unless you speak in their language. It may take many years to have language fluency.Food - As a vegetarian, it is nearly impossible to get the Indian food at a reasonable cost.Income - If you work for a good product company in India, the difference in salary is miniscule. If you work for IT service company, yes the income can be considerably higher. ( most of the European countries are socialist and do not believe in high salaries)Expenses - To match the standard of living and comfort like India, you have to spend a lot of money on domestic help, or house rent. Otherwise houses are small and expensive. Local transport, food, insurance is also more expensiveCulture - In US and UK parents can be punished for leaving their children outside alone for playing in a park or shouting at them when they do not listen or act appropriately. Children have to take appointments for play dates to play together. Also, i personally would not want my children to grow up in a culture where parents are not respected . Most of the Europeans still have a sense of superiority in their way of communication and interaction and would try their best to force their way to you unless you resist really hard.Rules & Regulations- Sometimes they are just too many rules, from the way of walking on pedestrians, driving, house registration or taking appointments for doctor, house registration, meet house owner, renew VISA. It takes time, effort and energy to understand their rules and sometimes you learn the hard way ( pay fine)Weather - Most of the countries have harsher climatic conditions. European countries, Canada are colder and African countries are warmer. Nordic countries are extreme cold and there is no sunshine for almost 5 months. Hamburg, where i live at present is not just cold but quite damp and it rains as much as Cheraponji in India. After spending some time outside India, you start to miss sunshine and warm weather of India.Parents- No matter how much you beautiful your house is, it is still imcomplete without the family. It is difficult for your parents to even visit occasionally & easily or vise versa ( limited leaves and money)Temples - It is hard to find good, peaceful temples where you actually feel at peace. ( though this is not a problem in US)India is the future - Everyone knows that the next growth will come in India. Both the companies i worked in Germany, now focus on India as they see it as an high growth/opportunity market which is also an open market (unlike China)

GST is applicable on loan processing charges at 18% comparesd to current service tax of 15%. Since your loan is sanctioned, I think bank would have already billed the amount to your account at old rates. There is no tax on loan amount per se.However if your house registration is post 1 July, you will pay GST there.
