Empire Builder Online: Fill & Download for Free

I will suggest,roll thru the ages(30 minutes)dominionstone age(1 hour, some interaction)empire builder(hr/player)and puerto rico(different than monopoly in mechanics, multiple paths to victory)all can be looked at on BGG(http://www.boardgamegeek.com)though the games i mentioned are different than monopoly they are more fun most have some sort of online play so you can give them a go before shelling out $50.I also like the suggestion above ofLe Havreand i would addAgricola

at 15 it would be difficult but if you look old enough you could go amtrak empire builder from milwaukee to minneapolis… don’t know if you need ID though just buy ticket online or at an e-ticket booth or something

I am not an Empire builder per se (but believe more in diversification across asset classes, which may be a good thought for you, too), but I have read many accounts of real estate success and do know what I do on a small scale can be replicated, so it may get you started.First, the definition of empire may also vary by individual (are you thinking 14, 40, or 4000 units, for example). But, again, this may be just a kick start plan to get you moving towards your goal, whatever that is...I would start by reading and learning alot (think real estate investment books, podcasts and websites, like Bigger Pockets).Then when you are ready to pull the trigger, perhaps get your feet wet with a small residential property (2-4 units).Even though you only have a few units, be sure and set up systems for scale (like online payments, standard applications, leases, move in/out packets, even see the online services like Cozy or Smart Move etc.).Even develop maintenance routines and practices that can be standardized and find some good service contractors...literally get it all down pat from move in to move out and everything in between. Even if you hire this out later or have in house staff, you will at least know how to direct and manage these people from the real estate "boot camp" and orientation...Then when you are ready and have your first property stabilized with good tenants and no major building problems, you could rinse and repeat, even trying larger properties (even commercial). If you move into large apartments, that would entail more self study, too, but is feasible with your resources and the equity you would build.Eventually, with what you are investing, you may look to expand in new areas or even use an employee or in house manager/maintenance team (again, beyond my scale, but lots of good source literature on buying and managing apartment complexes out there).
