If you are a resident of Tamil Nadu and your caste is classified as MBC then you will get a MBC certificate and not SC.If your community was not treated as SC in the past and it did not suffer any discrimination in the past as SC it will Not get any current advantages or preferences available to SCs Unless you can establish that your family actually was from Karnataka and had migrated from There to Tamil Nadu and had still records of having roots there and names of your father or grand father in the village records of Karnataka . In that case it may be possible to Go back to Karnataka and obtain a certificate from the village officers which will then be authenticated by higher authorities after revenue enquiry.

The SC stated that “85 out of 122 licenses were issued to companies who didn't seem to meet the eligibility criteria.” So it cancelled all the allotted licenses.Now if the companies didn't meet the eligibility criteria how were they shortlisted and allowed to apply? So there was no reason to stop those from being forwarded to Raja who just went by procedure.That made the entire case fall flat and made the prosecution look stupid.Just like how everyone knows Modi was purposely lax and allowed the riots to go one for 3 days before acting 2002, but it needs to be backed with evidence and proven in Court.Same way, we can consider and accuse them of scams but it needs to be backed with evidence and proven in Court.What CAG says in their report is purely procedural Improvement audits. It highlights ways to improve the returns of government tendering process to make them efficient and maximize revenue.However, the highly optimistic figure of 1.76 lakh cr (pessimistic figure was 2900 cr and neutral was 5700 cr) was superbly picked up by BJP & Media and played with as a SCAM. People don't even know the other two figures and just believe that 1.76 lakh cr was earned by the people involved in the so called scam.I have read people writing that the government was mandated to receive 1.76 lakh cr or the ministers took 1.76 lakh cr and it is really sad that people dont even understand what happened and can be played so easily.Anyway it will be interesting to see how the SC looks at the evidences.W.A.R
