This is the true story of what I did when I caught my boyfriend of 4 years cheating on me. This happened in the late 80s . The guy I was dating got injured on the job and ended up staying home all of the time. He took up karaoke (and drinking) as a hobby. He eventually got hired at a local country western bar to DJ the weekly event. The strange thing was when he got hired he didn't invite me to come be at his first show. I got a sick feeling in my stomach and decided I was going to see what was going on for myself. I parked my car across from the bar and waited. Around 11 when the show got done he came strolling out with a blonde on his arm. They got in her car and took off. I had seen enough. I recalled that he was also trying to get a second DJ job at a club near my house and as I more less followed them on the freeway towards my house, I wondered if they were going to that bar. Just as I suspected the little red car was parked right in front. I went in , it was very crowded and from afar I observed the karaoke area and the dance floor. I saw the guy I was dating sitting in the booth with the blonde. There was no doubt about the fact that they were there together. The bar had a request session going on so I purchased a beer (his brand) and sent a song request with it via the waitress. You could see him puff up by the fact he was getting a request. He couldn't see me from where he was. He got up and sang my song ( by the way, the song I requested was “Your cheatin heart”) and after he was done , he made his way back to see who had made the request and bought him a beer. Lo and behold it was me! LOL. The look on his face was priceless ! He then tried to lie his way out of the situation. I demanded to talk to the other woman. As it turned out, he was having an affair with her as she was married and cheating on her with me. We compared notes for quite some time and after a few drinks and some time we both concluded neither of us was interested in him anymore.

I was working at a golf club near where I live, I was around 16 at the time it wasn't my first job but it was still a part time job while I was at college. Most of the customers were old men and women who had no respect for the waitresses and bar staff. The women were rude and demanding while the men flirted and were inappropriate.One of the most common jokes I had as a waitress was when I would bring out food to the customers, there was always this big table of over confident men who stared at me whereever I walked. I brought them out their food and asked if they would like any sauces with their meals. The replied with 'no thanks love, I have enough sauce of my own'. I couldn't be rude so awkwardly laughed and walked away. I knew he was referring to his own semen as sauce, and they would always wink after as if it turned me on or that it was flattering but it was not, it was rude and disgusting.
