Our republican form of government is founded on the principle that sovereignty rests with the people and to ensure equal and fair representation of all states in our union, our Constitution vests each state the authority and responsibility to conduct their own election.The lawsuit filed by Texas’ Republican Attorney General is trying to overturn the election results of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia. And the 17 attorneys general are from the other Republican states joining in the lawsuit.Republicans from these 18 states are trying to get the Supreme Court to hear their petition to invalidate all the millions of certified votes and have the state legislators appoint the state electors instead.In essence, these are 18 Republican states trying to violate the electoral integrity of these 4 other states by saying that their results should be overturned after these 4 states had done the recounts and certification and their state courts have thrown out all of trump’s lawsuits for absolute lack of merit and proof. They want to disenfranchise 44 millions voters from these 4 states based on made-up voter fraud claims with no evidence!Not a single case of voter fraud had been presented in all the 40 plus lawsuits submitted to the state courts. America should be classified as a banana republic if our Supreme Court even accepts and deems this ridiculous lawsuit deserving of a hearing..SCOTUS accepting to hear the case will be severely tarnishing our country’s judicial integrity.
