Not a very famous one. Nor was she “really” black as people would say. She had a lighter tone but any sane person could tell that she was black. Her dressing mirror was 3 spots down to mine.“ We are starting in 5” came the instructions. And every model in the room started going through the final lineup before stepping on the runway.Out of nowhere, an assistant to one of the makeup stylists, mind you, not even the stylist or the designer…the Assistant to one of the makeup stylists came up to the black model and told her that she is cancelled.None of the other models paid attention, but since her dresser was pretty close to mine, I could hear everything. Like I said, models getting cancelled or booted wasn't a big thing and nobody batted an eye. But this black model asked the man as to why and he made this subtle head movement towards where Naomi and the designer of the show were standing.Anyways, I couldn't pay attention to anything more because I had to lineup. The show went on, it was a success and Naomi Campbell- the show stopper wowed them all.Years later, an interview surfaced on the internet. It was made fun of back then, but I think everything will click into place once I say this :Tyra Banks confronted her bully on a internationally televised Interview asking her directly as to why did she bully her all through her modelling career and terrorised her.You know who the bully was.Campbell.Ofcourse, Campbell didn't accept any charges and life went on because Tyra couldn't name people who could volunteer to serve evidence against Goddess Campbell that she truly harassed Tyra Banks.Everyone kept quiet and bowed to the Queen. Including me. They saif Tyra Banks was making things up.But I am a living evidence, because I saw it.
