Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya(JNV) are boarding schools where students can study from 6th to 12th without any cost.These schools are run and directed by Central Govt.Funding and all will done Ministry of HRD.Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti(NVS) is the higher body for all these JNV schools.Teachers are like gods in JNV’s because after our parents we used to live more period with them.They help us by guiding,motivating,suggesting and bring us back to our career path when we get distracted.It’s a golden opportunity if you get a seat in the entrance exam.A student can transform himself/herself into their dream personality.A student can develop both personal and academical characteristics with the guidance of well experienced teachers.A place where every kind of situation can be faced and dealt by students at very young age.We get a an impressive schedule for our daily life where both mentally and physically we can develop ourselves.An ideal schedule(daily routine)be likeMorning 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM-Physical Education Training: where a student can play any sport which he is interested in like cricket,football,hand ball etc,,6:00 AM to 7:AM freshup and we will get RagiMalt with biscuits which is very good for health.7:00 AM to 7:30 AM: Assembly where students participate in singing chorus of different cultural songs,play different musical instruments,reads news,narrates nice thought for the day,book reviews etc..mind that we used to everything manually we dont use any mobiles etc.7:30 AM to 9:AM : study (2 periods of 45 minutes each)9:AM to 9:30 AM :A nice hygenic breakfast.9:30 to 1:45 PM : study (6 periods)In between we used have Art Period(we learn how to draw),SUPW period(we learn different kinds of handicrafts),Music period(we learn how to use musical instruments) etc,,1:45 PM to 3:00 PM : Lunch and relaxation time.3:00 PM to 4:30 PM :Remedial Period where weak students get special classes by teachers and remaining used to do self study.4:30 PM to 6:00 PM :Evening snacks and PET time(we used to get different types of snacks like biscuits,bananas etc,, with tea and we play for an hour again)6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Study hours(we used to revise and do home work in this period)8:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Dinner Time9:00 PM to 10:00 PM :Roll Call10:00 PM-Lights offThis is used to be our daily schedule.Very very well balanced,right??JNV will learn you several kinds of emotions.A rich kid from well settled family will get know the value of each rupee,value of food,value of time and at the same time a kid from poor family can see a far better luxury life where they didn’t see in their life.Every daily necessities will be provided by School itself like from hair oil to shoes with uniform,sports dress,mosquito nets,bed sheets etc..A kid from below middle class family and middle class kids will feel it as more than heaven.Every student will get polished here and gets different kind of opportunities to prove themselves and settle in future.No private school will help you to learn and live this kind of life that too with free of cost.More over,we get a chance to go to other state to study for 1 year(North students to south and vice versa) to learn their social,culture and traditions,language etc personally I went to Samastipur Dist,Bihar in 9th class.Every year 1st sunday of Dec,month our alumnis will come to our school and they guide us,motivate us,used to get suggestions.And they used to recollect their memories,used to spend a day happily with their buddies.Navodaya schools will help you to learn academics,more over about life with different emotions,feels in 7 years.While entering in 6th class we cried and while leaving in 12th we feel sorrow for leaving.No doubt there are few other schools which provides same facilities with same same quality like Sainik schools,Kendriya Vidyalayas but JNV’s are little good in one or other way than any other kind of schools.Enter to Learn Leave to Serve,first thing I read and following after leaving the school.
