Records Request: Fill & Download for Free

I was first licensed in 1976. After 44 years, I probably wouldn’t recognize most of them and most wouldn’t recognize the old man I’ve become. If they did show up and remind me of a few things, I’d probably remember.I still get asked for copies of client records from time to time, though soon the required time will have passed and I can delete them all if I want. When I get a records request I usually look at it to see if I remember the client or case. I almost always do.

There are two clear issues for ALL of the winding indictments Trump and that is four years of blocking records requests and destruction of evidence requires many of their cases to restart now with their information gathering. Plus, the Supreme Court has punted back information protection by the former President. Finally, Trump was able to play a long game because he was spending government money to protect himself in some cases - the DOJ was providing considerable legal resources normally spent on prosecution of criminals defending Trump. Trump will have to replace his legal team now with those privately hired.A final issue. The Trump era is a HUGE suck on law enforcement as basically half the GOP decided to commit crimes in the permissive environment and rule of law broke down. FBI agents are making cases against 800 Capitol terrorists. Thousands of death threats against everything from congressmen to Capitol police officers are backlogged. COVID causes its own troubles. Trump was in for four years but no one thought he could cost as much as an entire Aircraft carrier in resources just to remove and prosecute the corruption he dragged with him.

I would agree this is accurate for most Stolen Valor cases. But, a few will be harder to flush out, and they are pretty good at the charade.In particular, some actually were in the military or even had some interesting service and were in proximity to elite or highly tactical operations (e.g. in combat). So, they know the lingo and units in a given area, and they have real dates of service, rank, training, etc. The only way you’d flush them out effectively is when they slip up over time. The story details get mixed up eventually, ’cause they can’t keep things straight. Or, you do a records request and catch them in a more blatant lie. And in this latter instance, how often do you really do a record request?? It’s not all that common.So, if you are more determined, you can keep up the charade for quite a while.However, yes the bulk of the SV types are just full of bullshit, which tends to be pretty obvious (particularly to those with a military background).But, I’ve noticed this phenomenon is usually related to a large pattern of pathological lying. So, it’s a more complex and extensive psychological profile, or pathology. In other words, they lie about a lot of things in their mundane lives. The military lies are just one facet of their constructed false identities and persona. Also, since they are indeed lying and didn’t necessarily do the things they claim…it’s easier to notice these types.So, you’ll notice the pattern tends to be continued in all their stories - not just the military BS. It’s always of a superlative or extreme nature (extremely outlandish or fascinating details). It’s like they are sub-consciously “one-upping” themselves or others - or, the stories they may have heard. And related to this, they will indeed include details that were pulled from Hollywood portrayals.This phenomenon frequently ties back to some issue with their self-esteem. They are trying to cover from some deep psychological deficiencies in some way. And they are often detached from a logical thought processes or social norms.
