I would say that all Vendors should be tracked, at a minimum in at least a Contract Management style system, that tracks spend, start and end dates.If you’re talking specifically about what criteria would be necessary to require a Vendor to go through a formal risk management process, such as a vulnerability assessment or some type of infosec questionnaire, it’s usually fairly simple:Will the Vendor handle any of your proprietary or confidential information, or will they handle customer information? This is, at best, a partial response to the question. Many standardized questionnaires, such as the PHQ-9, are simple to administer and reliable. However, a questionnaire cannot take a History and Physical and deliver a diagnosis.As a neurologist, my exam started when I opened the door to the waiting room and called the patient’s name. A good part of my neuro “exam” was done by the time introductions were over and we had walked to the exam room.I launched into “clinical” questions with the review of a musculoskeletal tension inventory followed by a very thorough sleep questionnaire that patients filled out in the waiting room.Patients freely discuss their muscles and sleep without apprehension or defensiveness.Most doctors never grill patients about sleep, but it’s a gold mine of important issues and the King’s Highway to Psychiatric Diagnosis. Which is to say, done properly, a sleep discussion should give a pretty good idea regarding anxiety and depression and a variety of other psychiatric issues.Much later in the assessment, I would directly ask questions about worry, stress, mood, etc. Answers were usually forthcoming because the patients had touched on all these issues indirectly previously.

Aaron I hate you.There is a very simple way that we self diagnose. We go to a professional who has trained for an unholy amount of years and then go through a process that can take days or weeks depending on how lucky you are.I had to answer questionnaires, sit through interviews, “emotive images,” fMRI (brain scan), and this delightful thing called the MMPI-2! Which in my personal opinion can go fuck itself on a burning pyre. 567 questions.. Why?? What did we do to deserve that bloody thing?So no we do not self diagnose, we went though a very thorough and exhaustive process. Some people do but it’s often fairly easy to find out by reading what they say and how they say it.
