Walmart Gift Card: Fill & Download for Free

60 seconds, no cart, and a store of my choice? I am at least clothed, right? You’ve made this far too easy.I’d pick the local Walmart. As much as I wanted to proclaim Target, the Walmart locations nearest me tend to be larger and contain more stock than Target. My plan would be very simple.Walmart has these gorgeous gift card kiosks in their stores. They generally have 2 large kiosks and then a few smaller gift card kiosks. Generally one smaller gift card kiosk per 4 checkout lanes.I start by quickly making my way to the largest kiosks. When I get there, I immediately take off my shirt and place it on the floor. I begin pulling the entire stack of gift cards from the rack and dropped them on my shirt. My focus are the Visa, American Express, and MasterCard gift cards, as well as the Amazon, Amazon and Google App Stores, and Gas station cards.While gift cards usually allow a maximum initial balance of $2,000–5,000, many stores have a policy of only adding $1,500-$2,000 per card per transaction. CVS allows up to $2,000, but they tend to have far fewer physical cards available. Most kiosks have 12 cards per placeholder and there are typically 4–6 placeholders per major card on the rack, so that’s roughly $48,000 - 72,000 per display for a single type of gift card.Following those locations, popular and large chains. One or two large kiosks should roughly fill my shirt, if not, I’ll make my way to the next kiosk within the checkout aisles. Once full or when low on time, I will grab the corners of my shirt and use it as a make-shift bag. I’m already mere steps from the cashier, so I could basically use up 55-seconds and the remaining 5-seconds to ensure I get all the gift cards on the cashier station. Oh yeah, and I’d also grab a Payday candy bar. Not because of any pun, but simply because I enjoy Paydays.Though, as I’m sure many of you didn’t notice, the question says “take as many things as you can”, not have someone pay for the items you’ve taken. I’d likely leave the store with a shirt full of unactivated gift cards, a Payday, and one huge face palm.

Voluntary ones. Yes, they’re a gun enthusiast’s best friend!Why? First, Price.Guns are valuable. They keep their value very well. But buybacks generally offer… nothing in exchange for a gun. Maybe $50. $100. And not cash, but often in the form of a Walmart card.So, in some places, gun collectors will actually go “set up shop” near the buy-back place and put up signage: “We’ll pay you better.”And they do.I mean, the idea of people unloading grandpa’s old M-1 Garand for a $100 Walmart gift card is insane. And basically, an insult to the seller’s intelligence. Almost predatory.If you want people to “bring out the guns”, buy-backs are a good way to pick up some good pieces at a good price.Also, humor.People who think gun buy-backs do anything are… well, special. “We took 187 dangerous guns of the street today!”But neither the officers running the buyback or the people turning in the guns believe that. It’s all sort of a big scam on the public.The programs are usually “no questions asked”.You surrender a gun, you get $100.Bring in 2 guns, get $200.Bring in 3 guns, $300.And so on…So, people have discovered that for just a few bucks, you can slap together a bunch of metal pipe and wood into roughly the shape of a gun.
