I have a few experiences that I will never forget. That were absolutely horrifying. 3 children and they’ve each had one. We’ll start with my daughter. She’s the oldest she’s 17 now. When she was 4 we were at the library in the children’s section with my sister, my aunt and my little cousin who is a few years older than my daughter. I was like 8 months pregnant. I went to the bowling alley next door to get these amazing Otis spunkmeyer freshly made choc chip cookies and drinks for everyone. I come back and I’m walking thru the children’s section and EVERYONES GONE..I was like ok maybe they went to another part of the library as I turn around I hear blood curdling screams from the bathroom..it’ was my daughter screaming NO! NO! NO! Don’t touch it! No! I rip the door open and there’s my sister holding her my cousin crying and her crying and blood pouring down her face. My sister was trying to clean it up and she was no letting her. My aunt had wen to get the car to so we can go to the ER. Her and my cousin were running and she fell and hit the side of her eye on a bookshelf.. she had to get stitches and still has the scar. I’ll update with pictures later.Next time was when my oldest son whom I was pregnant with in above story was 4..(yep both my kids got stitches at age 4!) he was jumping on the bed..and off the bed and on the bed and he jumped on the bed his foot just missed the edge of the mattress and he went face first into the corner of the amour next to my bed..BLOOD EVERYWHERE..I’m screaming for my mom to call an ambulance.(I lived with my mother at the time) I’m holding him in my arms there was soo much blood he had a gash in the middle of his forehead..he’s crying in crying he looks up at me covered in blood my shirt covered my arms and hands and the towel I was trying to clean it up with and tears streaming down his face he says “mommy am I going to die” I lost it I will never forget that. They said the head always bleeds ALOT more .. he got stitches.. soo fast forward to my youngest son..he’s 7 now.. he was 2..we were living next door to my mom and moving to another town..my mom my sister were watching my kids with our puppy and my moms puppy (who were brother and sister) they had them all outside playing while my husband and I were loading up the moving truck..literally were moving that night. We planned to be done and on the way to the new house by midnight to have the truck back before morning. Sooo they ordered pizza everyone’s having a good time we’re about a halfway done and suddenly SCREAMING..my daughter running up the stairs mommy! Mommy! Patrick’s eye! His eye! Behind her my sister cradling my baby bloody eye.. freaking out my moms dog scratched his eye.. we thought it cut thru his eyelid.. it looked like his eyeball was bleeding . Ambulance comes him and I leave for emergency room.. it did NOT cut through thank god! And they wanted to give him stitches but I would not allow it he’s thrashing and screaming I don’t want a needle by his eye..fought with the doctor who finally glued it ..he said but he’ll rip the glue off I said well if he’ll do that he’ll pull the stitch too so what’s the difference! My kids all still have their facial scars.. soo fast forward to last summer.. my daughter rode her bike to her friends house and was hanging out.she was 16. She had to leave her friends by 10 to ride her bike hone unless she was getting a ride and left her bike then she could stay later. She calls me at 10 and says I’m leaving I’ll be home in a few minutes.. not 3 minutes later she calls me and she’s crying.. I’m freaking out.she couldn’t get the words out just crying. Finally She says a car hit me mom..I’m freaking out I have no idea how bad it is luckily it’s not that far just a two minute drive away (20 mins walking) so my sister who lives 3 houses away from me gets out of bed (I don’t have a car) and we drove to where she was. Everyone on my block is very close and looks after each other so my sisters landlords husband jumps in car with us. No one knows how bad or what to expect because she said she crawled to the corner and was laying in the ground she couldn’t get much more out. We get to her. We help her to the car and bring her bike to her friends house it was 2 blocks away from where she was hit. They follow us to hospital when they found out. Luckily just some road rash and bruising and sprained wrist nothing serious very sore. They never caught the bastard..not only did he stop at stop sign and motion for her to go and then hit her he got out of his car and yelled at her while she was lying on the ground crying.. then took off. Well those were my scariest experiences as a mother!
