APT 1-A - 40 questions from Mathematics and 20 questions from Physics with 60 minutes time limit. Which makes APT really very tough to complete in time. Difficulty level of the questions is easy-moderate. In 2015 when I gave APT-1-A, questions were easier than JEE Mains. Difficulty level was same as BITSAT or VITEEE.If you are preparing for BITSAT or VITEEE then that would be enough for this APT. For Physics I suggest you to study through the NCERT book of 12th and Arihant's Online BITSAT success package. In Physics they also ask many theoretical questions. (From Wave Optics, Electromagnetism and Thermal Part).For Mathematics you have to solve almost all problems in Arihant's Online BITSAT success package. Mathematics would be lengthy and it's impossible to attempt all the questions in 40 minutes if you are giving test without enough practice. So the most Important part is Practice. Only the Practice will make your speed good enough to solve 60 questions in 60 minutes. (Main Topics in Maths- Geometrical Algebra, Vector, Integration, Matrices and Determinants, Complex Numbers).You have approximate 2 Months (if you are giving it in first week of June), Which is enough time to practice (approx. 30*60=1800 questions).All the Best.Thanks for A2A.

This happened to me when I was 17.I studied in Karnataka, India and we have Common Entrance Test to test us before we are admitted to Engineering or Medical Universities. This comprises of three papers - Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. As far as the public knowledge goes, the question papers come in 16 sets, so students sitting beside each other cannot copy.The first day of CET was for Mathematics and Physics, and the Mathematics papers was super tough, I remember. The whole of our badge found it hard and it was even telecast-ed as news that day. Hence, for the second day and final day of CET, most of us were very demoralized. We have 60 minutes for 60 questions, and you can imagine, it is done to test your calm and quick perception. Chemistry was never my cup of tea, I always assumed I would score the most for Mathematics as it was my favorite. The question papers were given out, the clock began ticking and I started answering my Chemistry Paper. I skipped the ones I was not sure about, and filled out about 16 out of all 60 in about 15 minutes. As it was a multiple choice type of exam, and I had ticked off what I thought were answers by then, I observed a pattern. It went like A-B-C-D!Next two minutes were spent, on trying to make sure the pattern does exist and my brain was not playing tricks. I started shivering, with happiness, I guess. I had nothing to loose, there was no negative marking on this exam. I spent the next 30 minutes trying to solve the questions I had left blank in first scan. The pattern still existed. With 5 minutes to go, I still had some 20 questions remaining, I just decided to go ahead and fill it up in the pattern.Came out of the examination hall with a very weird feeling, I was not confident or happy, but I knew for sure, the pattern existed. When asked how I performed, I would reply with uncertainty.And the results? 56/60! My ranking improved a great deal due to this. I could not believe it. The question paper was designed according to a pattern, with only 4 amiss from it. I don’t know how many of my batch-mates had the version of the paper and realized it.I sure made use of it.
