How can you get a visa without a date of birth?Interesting question. Do you mean that you can’t complete the application because you don’t know your date of birth? In that case, how did you get a passport?Or do you mean, can you get a visa that doesn’t have your date of birth printed on it? Only if you only want to travel to a country that doesn’t include a visa holder’s date of birth on its visas.

You can update your date of birth again so that you get Aadhaar card with full date of birth instead of year alone. Aadhaar cards issued in the beginning years have only year of birth but the ones being issued during the last few years have full date of birth instead of year only.In ordet to update your date of birth, there are three ways: online; going to the Aadhaar Enrollment Centre; by post.In order to do it online, you have to have your current mobile number registered in Aadhaar to receive OTP. To do this go to the official website of Aadhaar which is www.uidai.gov.in and go to section “ Aadhaar update “. Follow the procedure given in that. You need to upload self-attested proof of date of birth certificate. See the website for a list of documents acceptable as proof of date of birth. If you go to the website everything is self-explanatory.The alternative way is to go to the Aadhaar Enrollment Centre and fill in a form for Aadhaar update and submit the same along with proof of date of birth. The rest will be done by the agent in Aadhaar Centre. For a latest list of Aadhar centres in your area, you can find them in the above website.I have updated my Aadhaar last year to have full date of birth and I got the updated version of the e- Aadhaar with full date of birth on the website after six weeks and the printed version after four months. Once you get the message that your updated Aadhaar is ready, you can download the same and print it which is accepted every where.I discourage you to do it by post.

You will receive URN number. Note down the URN number. This number can be used for tracking the status of your update request in future.You can track your update status here: https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/check-statusYou can update/change Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID through this method.OFFLINE METHOD (BY POST):Step 1: Download the form by visiting this link https://uidai.gov.in/images/UpdateRequestFormV2.pdfStep 2: Take a print of the form and fill out all the details and tick the box of Date of Birth for correction. You can also tick other boxes in the field for Update/Change for other changes. Sign the form.Step 3: attach self attested copies of relevant documents and mention your aadhar number and mobile number on the copies.Step 4: Send the filled form along with the supporting documents via Speed Post to:UIDAI, Post Box No. 99, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad-500034, India.ENROLLMENT CENTRE METHOD:Visit the nearby Enrollment Centre along with your aadhar card and other necessary supporting documents. Fill out the form, Sign the form, attach the documents and follow the instructions.
