What he has laid out is solid and practical advice for long term success in our Special Operations community.Imagine an incredibly gifted 16 year old child meeting all the qualifications for becoming a college student, then heading off to campus. You can rest assured that without the requisite basic life experiences and social skills development, this "qualified" 16 year old will have a most terrible time in college.While I think I understand what your asking, the wording that you use is an indicator for how you think, how you articulate your thoughts, and ultimately where you may find demise in US Special Operations - you will be dealing with and training some of the most uneducated fighters on the planet - what you say and how you say it will have a huge impact on your successes and failures. You asked "what do recruiters look for?". Recruiters look for minimum standards based on a checklist within a book of checklists; most recruiters are not invested in your success, they are invested in meeting the minimum standards for a recruiter. What you should ask is, "what does it take to be a successful member of the US Special Operations community?", then apply those tenants to a trade that you enjoy doing. Learn to embrace stress and failure as a catalyst for positive reform. . . then, finally, be willing to risk it all.It's not a fun road. It's not glamourous. It's often not even glorious. However, for someone who plays the infinite game within the construct of game theory, it is without a doubt the most internally rewarding job a guy could ever ask for.

The word "licensed" give people a false sense of security. To become licensed, one does not have to be a professional. In some instances, there is very minimal education and training involved.It's best to hire someone who has experience in construction or consulting beyond just home inspection experience. As a home inspector, we're not allowed to do any destructive testing so there's no way to know if our assumptions are right or wrong, without other experience. If you hire someone who also has experience in dealing with buildings during all stages of construction, they will have a much better understanding of the home.Make sure the inspector is willing to jump up on the roof (not just review from the edge). And enter the attic and crawlspace (not just peek from the hatch). And remove the electrical panel. It's amazing how many inspector assume that 99% of the area will look like the 1% that's visible from the "peeking" area. If you can't see it, you can't see it.Make sure your inspector is willing to get his hands dirty.
