​I just received my cheque today.Before you raise your eyebrows let me give you a deep meaning for giving this answer.Filipinos are used to long hours of queues just to get documents and transacting with government offices. You need a day (8-hour) to make sure you will complete your transaction. After the transaction, don't feel victorious because most of the time, you will only be receiving receipt or any kind of proof that your application (to any document) was received and will (still) be processed.Now, SSS (Social Security System) has a way of doing things easier, for their office and for their stakeholders. This makes SSS have an edge over other government offices.​This is my time frame to my application process​:June 6, 2017 (Tuesday)- I applied through their website (http://www.sss.gov.ph) for the loan.June 7, 2017 (Wednesday) - I received a Salary Loan Confirmation from SSSJune 13, 2017 (Tuesday) - I received my cheque and saw that the date of the cheque was June 7, 2017.Meaning my application was processed just after a day of my application. I just claimed my cheque through my employer at the Payroll Office. If only the payroll officer told me that my cheque was available, I would have received it after three days at the most.This is really a first-time for me to experience this kind of service from a government office here in the Philippines. These are guarded very well and kept securely because if the cards are lost, one has to undergo a procedure before re-issuance. When you want to open a bank account, you will be asked to produce two valid ID cards and any of those that I have mentioned are accepted. These cards are for official use of the member and not readily shown to anyone unless necessary.
