I read an interesting article today from the Houston times stating, in essence, that AOC was recruited by Justice Democrats to bring about a “Brand New Congress” whose purpose is essentially (when you boil it all down) to change the USA into a socialist country. The Green New Deal is/was ostensibly to fight climate change but also to completely change the basic way the economy works. From Chakrabarti, AOC right hand man: “we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing."Pelosi is not only working against the Republicans, as is expected, but she is also battling what is legitimately a third party that goes under the heading “Democrat” when in fact they are not, they are socialists and really don’t make bones about it. So she is fighting within her own party to tamp down an ideology that will work toward and is all about destroying BOTH parties.I never thought I would say it, but I feel for her because she and other Democrats have to contend with this virus within their party that is killing it from within. The Social Democrats are hiding under the cover of “legitimacy” of the Democratic party when, in fact, there is so much that they don’t have in common. Democrats, trying to appeal to those who might like this socialist movement are moving farther and farther left, really putting themselves in the Social Democrats camp and IMO if they are not careful and don’t reign in this political movement to change the country to a socialist one, they will cease to exist at some point as the cancer takes over their party.The Social Democrats are cowards and should come out as a third party even if currently a nascent one and stop trying to masquerade as Democrats.It makes sense why there has been a sudden abandonment of any kind of immigration controls. It is all about increasing your numbers to a point where Republicans cannot be a counter balance and then, once that is achieved, to wipe out the Democrats in it’s current form.“Democrats” advocating for giving illegal aliens free healthcare makes sense if you understand the motivation behind it. They don’t give a damn about the illegals, but the illegals serve a purpose for them. If illegal immigrants are getting free health care ultimately those that are paying taxes to provide that for them AND are paying their own healthcare will say “hey, why does this illegal alien get free health care and not me? I don’t want to pay taxes for him and have to pay my own insurance. I want the same advantage. Sign me up for government healthcare.” No one wants to feel like a sucker and ultimately not a single vote will need to be taken because people will want the same sweetheart deal as the illegals and will naturally gravitate toward that. Government sponsored health care becomes the norm. No arguments, no votes, no fuss, no muss.So the short answer to your question is yes, the Democrat bickering is giving Trump a second term, but more importantly the bickering is going to destroy a more moderate and reasonable Democrat party and Pelosi and company will find themselves proxy socialists by default which will fundamentally change America in a way that IMO will destroy it. A doctor will probably ask you why you would want a DNR. You'll have to use very straightforward language so you're wishes can be documented. DNR's are usually directly related to a chronic or terminal illness.Most ppl start off with an Advanced Directives. I think that this is what you might be interested in. You name a friend or family member you're health care proxy. Please discuss with them your wishes should the worst happen. Most ppl who get this (I have one, my husband is my proxy) know that sometimes in an accident, we might not come back fully (vegetative state) and it might be a permanent status. Your health care proxy, will discuss your chances with your health care team. In my Advanced Directives, I give the team 30 days to bring me back. If they can't, my wishes are to be taken off life support. Everything has been written out, I don't think I've left anything up for discussion. It was signed and witnessed.
