Your movements are tracked everywhere, through the 2 million cameras here in Shenzhen alone.We’ll see how long these mildly dystopian regulations stay in place; they may well become a permanent fixture of life.From what I’ve noticed, people here do not mind giving up privacy or freedom. Indeed, they are startlingly happy to do so in the name of harmony.To me, that is the most concerning thing.I’m not saying that it is good, or bad. Just something that I find concerning, nothing more.Still, people are in good spirits. Here are a few things to do to make the process fasterRegister onlineGet a printout of the above and stand in the counter (for online registrations)If you know which department you wish to consult (Neurology/Neurosurgery/Psychiatry) please indicate this right at the start. This will help the process to take you directly to the respective departmentOnce you are in the queue, please ask the person for what number you have been allotted. Keep in mind that you will be see based on language and other considerations( we try to allot the same language speaking person to see you so that you may be able to express your concerns better) so the chronology may not be maintained.
