Hey there,There are so many great Chrome extensions out there, let me name a few that I love:1- Schedule Email: a free way for me to schedule emails to be sent at a later date. I sometimes am working late at night, and this is perfect for when I need my emails to NOT say ‘sent at 2:35 am’.2- Momentum: it replaces the ‘traditional’ tab that opens in Chrome: with a google search and your most commonly opened pages. A few years back I thought of a tool that will help competitive programmers decrease their implementation time during short contests. In a short contest programmers often take tens of second to open up a text editor / IDE and copy their templates before they can start the actual coding.I implemented a small chrome plugin called code-now which directly opens up your favourite IDE for a given language directly from the problem page so that you can start your implementation right away. Checkout the source code and other details here - ashish1294/code-now. It helped me a lot in short contest. There are a lot of to-do items than can be implemented in that repo.You clearly have some nice ideas. And I must add that implementing them can be tricky and challenging. These challenges include -There is no API by any online judge to fetch data. This means you'll have to write your own methods to parse the HTML pages and extract the required data.Everything should be client-side.Ideas like progress bar and problem recommendation system requires you to parse a lot of problems and related statistics. These require background jobs and you will typically need to host such scripts and fetch it on client side.Some online judges have rate-limiter installed. Meaning accessing multiple pages from same ip within a short duration is not allowed (basic measures to prevent bots). This means you cannot query many pages for single client request.I discarded a few infeasible ideas earlier. But here are a few that I think is easy to implement -Solve Later. Add a button on each problem page do that users can add the problem to their to-solve list. This is one of the items on my code-now to-do list. The plugin will maintain a local copy of all the to-solve problems and show them is a nice format. Users can access the list of problems and problem statements anytime they want even when they are not online.A gdb / valgrind based to to identify run-time errors - especially while testing problems with large test case file. A nice GUI for watching variables can also help a lot. Imagine a GUI that shows how the matrix values changes over the time period of execution.A plugin to edit the past solutions of users in a text editor. This can be really helpful, especially when you want to understand someone else's code.
