What are the weirdest things flight attendants have seen in their line of duty?

See this thing here? It's a sanitary liner. In other words, what many women use to catch blood when they have their periods.Well. I had a friend who worked as a flight attendant and she got into a mild argument with a guy who insisted on having EVERYTHING that was free or complimentary on the flight. He was extremely annoying and constantly asked crew for stuff. If he saw someone next to him get something, he wanted it too.At one point during the flight a lady asked for a sanitary pad to help her with an 'emergency' situation. He insisted he should have one too - cos you know, it's free, right? My friend tried to reason with him. I'm not sure if his English was 100%, because he insisted again and seemed to assume the pad was one of these...A sleep mask.Upon receiving his sanitary pad he proceeded to peel the paper backing off and expose the sticky side; he stuck the thing over his eyes and soon afterwards fell asleep...THE END.

President Trump says he will not attend Joe Biden inaugural ceremony in January. What are your thoughts?

Let’s consider a patriot and how that patriot would act.No matter what you thought of him as a leader or what you thought of his politics, George H.W. Bush (George W. Bush’s dad) was a patriot. He served the country in many ways from early on as a pilot in WWII.He lost a tough election to Bill Clinton and served just one-term. It was a terrible, bitter loss to a man he thought was his junior in experience (true), and intellect (probably not). It was absolutely horrible for him. He also knew it was especially distressing to his supporters - the people that thought Bill Clinton would bring the country to its knees. But, Bush put country before his emotions. He went to the inauguration of Bill Clinton and wished him well. He did that to show the peaceful transition of power. He did it to show the world that whatever our differences, we come together for our sacred institutions that are critical for preserving our republic. That’s how a patriot acts.

What is the rudest thing you've seen someone do in a checkout line?

Just recently, I was in line to check out at a store. Social distancing and mask requirements were being enforced, and I was actually relieved to see this being done. The check-out attendant was wearing a face mask and a face guard. As the woman in front of me started placing her items on the belt, she took her face mask off. The check-out attendant immediately stopped, and told her that she had to wear a mask. Instead of just putting it back on, she started raising her voice and telling the attendant she could not breathe with the mask, and there was no law to make her wear a mask. They went back and forth a couple of times, and then the attendant called the manager. The woman began yelling at the attendant, and went into a rant about how her freedom was being taken away and the attendant’s “green card” should be taken away. At this point I came to the defense of the attendant, and told her being a minority in the U.S. does not make you a “green card holder”; in fact this was racist to say. The woman instead, started telling me my “green card” would be cancelled also.I remember thinking that simply following a mask rule had led to racism being hurled at the attendant, and at myself because I defended the attendant. I went on to tell the woman that the attendant was young enough to be her child, and dealing with her the way she was speaking was inhuman. The whole episode brought back painful memories for me about racism I had dealt with in the U.S.Finally the manager came, and told her either she wore the mask, or she could leave. Well, at this she blew directly at the attendant and then at me and walked out leaving her merchandise there. I would openly state that she did not blow at the manager but only at the two minorities. The experience really made an impression on me, as a health issue was turned into a racist tirade, it was truly beyond rude.
