A veteran Election Strategist turned politician Prashant Kishore, as a mediator, when a couple of weeks before had a meeting with Shiv Sena Supremo Udhav Thakrey in Mumbai in a closed room in presence of his son Aditya Thakrey, the hope of understandings were developed between Shiv Sena and BJP.Today after several rounds table talks between Amit Shah and Udhav Thakrey in presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on February 18, it has been decided that BJP will contest on 25 seats while Shiv Sena will contest on 23 seats. The party has also decided that both will also fight an equal number of seats in the coming assembly election in Maharashtra. Now last coming alliance of past 25 Years have existed and controversy, confusion and misunderstandings have ended up now. For the Last few years Shiv Sena Supremo wanted to play a role of Big brother in Maharastra. It means Shiv Sena wanted to fight in assembly election more seats like 1995 but BJP has not supported their demands, so there was a tussle between BJP and Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena has been publicly criticising the BJP on a number of issues and early Shiv Sena had announced that he would contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election separately. This issue was a big headache for BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, BJP has vote share about 27.56 % and Shiv Sena has around 20% vote share respectively. BJP and Shiv Sena bagged 23 and 18 seats respectively in 2014 Lok Sabha election.In Maharastra BJP government under Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is performing very influencing and satisfactory. Now Shiv Sena again came with as a partner of NDA alliance. It has definitely given a strong shape of NDA and hopes again both Parties will repeat the performance like 2014 Lok Sabha.
