Oddly specific, yet strangely appropriate, question here.If anyone has read about this, then there's a definite elephant in the room, and that would be the Furry Raiders, the controversial group some term as ‘Nazi Furs’. While it's dangerous to state any sort of agreement with them, I will point out the simple fact that they do not claim to be Nazis, they do not claim to support Nazi ideology, nor do any of their statements, actions, or events propose the belief that they are in any way related to the Nazis. The only basis that anyone has to call them such is the fact their symbol is reminiscent of a Swaststika (apparently based on an old drawing, and not anything else).RMFC was a victim of ignorance, hatred, and a split community, plain and simple. A certain artist threatened the Raiders with violence due to the misguided belief they are Nazis. Someone replied to this person with the statement they wanted to see them shot. The person then called in a gun threat, to which the hotel that houses RMFC demanded extra security to deal with; security RMFC simply didn't have the money for. That's why it was cancelled. Furry fucking drama.We, the community, dropped the fucking ball here. The incessant labelling of people as Nazis (such as 2 Gryphon, but that's a different matter) has gotten completely out of hand. It's a minority, but it's a big and a loud minority. The argument over details, politics, and groups has gotten out of hand. And to make it worse, our dirty laundry is being hung out for the world to see by furries like the Dogpatch Press, who decided getting a title such as ‘Furries, Nazis, and sex offenders’ onto the front pages of both Google and Reddit was a good way to handle the situation.It's sad. It really is. RMFC has been killed. Rainfurrest has been killed. Anthrocon is looking at risk. And it all comes back to the absolutely stupid idea that half the fandom is comprised of Nazis! Over 60 US lawmakers, including senior Democratic Congressman Steny Hoyer, are also expected to attend the event.To showcase the diversity of the Indian-American community, the organizers have put together a 90-minute cultural extravaganza - "Woven: The Indian-American Story" - that will feature 400 artistes and community members from Texas and across the US.}(1)Already tremors of descents from opposition in India has started with the main question being “What India will get out of this summit” , because they only see a personal glory of Modi in this aspect.After 2014 when Modi toured lot of nations, the same opposition criticized and termed him as “suit boot baba” who is interested in roaming countries. But the result of those tours were beneficial to India after our surgical strike over Balakot where every nation except few supported us.The result for any action would follow in due course of time. The opposition have no patience to wait for it.India is in the process of acquiring our legal land of POK.For that purpose we have to fight not only with Pakistan, but also China.It is not like Bangladesh war in 1971 where only Pak is involved. For that we require every nation support, particularly of USA and Russia.That is the reason Modi is establishing cordial relations with USA and Russia.Also in recent past the trade between USA and India has faced some dependencies.
