Here we go…I started writing this answer at 8:30pm.I’m thirteen years old.I’m in middle school.I’m in 8th grade.I like all subjects, but I have a bias for English.I enjoy writing.My favorite color is purple.I’m lesbian.I thought I was bisexual from 4th grade to 7th grade, it took me a while to figure out.I had a college reading level when I was 8 years old.This caused me to be put in a gifted program.My new school doesn’t do this gifted program, however.I go to a public school.My average typing speed is 70 WPM when I’m really trying, but I’ve gotten to 96 WPM before.I like singing.I’m in my school choir.I feel insecure a lot of the time, although I don’t act like it.I have mild PTSD that is triggered by hearing someone (usually male) yelling, even if it is not directed at me. It can also be triggered by someone putting their hands too close to my face unexpectedly.I write songs.I write stories that I don’t finish most of the time.I write poems.I have a girlfriend.Her name is Claire.I met her on Quora.We’re a long distance relationship.We live 76 miles away.A few weeks ago, we met in real life.We’re going to meet up again soon.We might have a sleepover in a few months.I love my girlfriend (of course).I think the American school system is terrible.I’m pro-choice.I have a dog named Cici.I also have a hamster named Pepper.I have a lot of habits.These habits include biting my nails.I’m an extrovert.I’m pretty outgoing… most of the time.Like most Quorans, I get hate comments that I laugh at and then delete.I act like I don’t care about certain things.But I care. I’m desensitized to it now.I can sit still for a long period without doing anything.I’m left-handed.I draw sometimes, but I don’t think my art is very good.Sometimes I question my existence.Sometimes I draw a conclusion that nothing I do really matters, in the grand scheme of things.I’m not saddened by this, it’s just the truth.In a few hundred years, no one will remember me.It’s fine. It’s life.My teachers like me because I’m quiet.My friends like me because I’m friendly.Other people at school like me because I’m too much of a pushover to say no when they ask for things.I’m an atheist.My father is a Christian.My mother is a Buddhist.I never got into religion, although my father tried to force me into it.Most people at my school can’t tell what my ethnicity is.I’m half Asian, half European.My Asian side mostly consists of Thai, but I am 10% Chinese.My European side consists of German and Irish.Sometimes I feel smart.Sometimes I feel stupid.I like rabbits… a lot.My birthday is February 10th, 2006.My favorite season is winter.At the beginning of the school year, when I first moved, around four boys had a crush on me.No one at school openly has a crush on me now, as most of them know I have a girlfriend.I quickly adjusted to this new school.I like the school.Apart from a few students and most of the teachers, I like it.I still talk to all of my exes except for one (Rydia).A 6th grader at my old school got pregnant.The father was (allegedly) a high schooler.I never saw her again after that. A part of me thinks she’s immature and a part of me feels bad for her. Her parents must have been so angry with her…Sex education in America is absolutely terrible. (Adding on to how bad the school system is here)I have all A’s in my classes.This isn’t because my mom is super strict or anything—I just like keeping good grades.I don’t like mustard.I don’t like mayonnaise.I like spicy foods.I handle them quite well.I’ve always been very tolerant of pain in many forms, however.I’m 5′2″.I weigh around 105 pounds.I have a rectangular-shaped figure.I have brown hair.I have brown eyes.I wear contacts, as my vision is -3.75 in both eyes.I like playing video games.I like memes.I feel unwanted a lot of the time.It’s okay though.I have written 100 facts now.I’m wearing the hoodie my girlfriend gave to me.I’m wearing leggings because it’s cold.My personality type is ENFP-A.I will do anything to avoid conflict.Even if that means giving up some of my dignity.I’m allergic to peanuts.I almost died when I was 5 due to ingesting peanuts at a restaurant.Another near-death experience I’ve had was when I was around 4 years old.Robbers broke into our house with guns.They quickly escaped after hearing me call for my mother.I theorize that they did this because they thought the house was empty, or because they didn’t want to kill a four year old.I’m interested in learning about serial killers. I realize that this is a common thing for girls to say.I feel fine right now.As an atheist, I wonder what happens after death.Personally, I believe nothing happens. You just die.A part of me doesn’t want this to be true…But I just can’t bring myself to believe otherwise.My desk is messy at the moment.I’m staring a pen while I think of something better to write for this answer.There’s a Sephora ad on the side of the screen right now.Speaking of Sephora, I wear makeup.I think it’s fun.People always ask me why I wear makeup since they think I’m “prettier without it.”I just think it looks nice, and it covers up any insecurities on my face.People who don’t know me think I wear makeup “to get attention from boys.” I’ve been called a whore because of it.Which is…. obviously not true. I have a girlfriend and I could honestly care less about what boys think of me. Do you sincerely think I want to attract those hormone-filled beasts?Girls who put other girls down for wearing makeup are one of my least favorite kinds of people.I used to be one of these people.People are quick to judge.I try not to let it bother me, and most of the time it doesn’t.But a few comments slip through and I start feeling insecure all over again.A lot of older adults on Quora comment on my answers with the most pretentious things, thinking that they’re actually making a difference in how I will live my life.Nowhere did I ask for your damn opinion, Barbara.When you were my age, you didn’t have any type of awareness about the world.I do.
