PDF Editor FAQ

Why did 10 people flee employment at Buckingham under Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in less than 2 years?

Did they ‘flee’ or were they fired or warned they would be fired and left so it wouldn’t be on their employment record? I recall at least one was leaving because her contract was up. Employers and employees don’t always get along, the employee might have thought the job entailed different responsibilities and she or he, wasn’t up to it.They may have not like working for a biracial woman. Or one that was a hard worker herself and expected her staff to be hard working too. We really know very little but what the palace has put out, and that’s fairly suspect since it’s become clear they are working hard at making Meghan out to be the dragon lady of London. One thing we do know, the handling of this, two years after the fact or more, is highly suspect. Between that and the Curious Affair of the Earrings being release at this particular moment baldly shows that there really is an effort of the part of the crown to smear Meghan character in advance of the interview which also clearly means that they have reason to believe they did advance some less than clean behavior to them.

What is the most underhanded thing a co-worker did to you that they mistakenly thought went unnoticed?

A former bandmate re-released a record we did back in 1991.I wrote all but 1 of the 16 songs on the record and wrote the lyrics and bridge music to the 16th. I played lead guitar on 4 songs and was the lead singer on ALL 16 songs. In the liner notes he credits himself for ALL writing, ALL guitars, and ALL vocals. My name was nowhere to be found. Though it was clear to even my 8 yo grandson that I was the singer.A fan/ friend, tipped me off when she saw it in an LA music shop.He thought he got away with it until my lawyer contacted him.I got the last laugh. I own ALL the copyrights (he knew this. Even on the song he co-wrote because I wrote more of it than him, we filed it all under my name.) I own ALL the publishing rights. So, I had my lawyer call him with a cease and desist on distribution. Had all copys removed and destroyed at his expense. And, had him give me every cent he had made off the record (he started to fight the last 2 parts but when he got a lawyer they told him he was screwed). So I got the advance he had procurred from the label (who then sued him for misrepresenting the record and leaving them in a leveragable position). And, I got the take from every copy that had been sold, minus the label’s piece. After splitting it with the drummer and bass player, who he credited but never paid. I got a nice summer in Paris with my wife out of it.Should go to show that old “Get a real job!” slur often thrown at musicians is just stupid. You can't just be a musician, you also have to be a businessman, or you WILL get screwed by the label, promoters, and/ or bandmates.Currently I am replacing all his contributions on the record so it can be re-released. I'll mail him a copy to salt the wound. I know it's petty but damn.
