Does your MIL have any reason to believe your daughter is in danger with you?Our DIL and son allowed us to take their then 3 year old from Canada to our home in Illinois and then to Disney World. They provided a notarized letter authorized our taking her and allowing us to get required medical care. The letter had no ending date.When my DIL joined us at Disney World, she started asking how we were getting her daughter to behave so well. My DIL kept observing her daughter for a few days but then admitted her mom and stepdad were physically and verbally abusing my son and herself and verbally abusing their daughter. She also told us for the first time about all the abuse she experienced her whole life. Her stepfather referred to the 3 year old as “the little bitch.” She said that to her knowledge their daughter had not suffered any physical abuse. I told her our granddaughter was NOT going back to Canada. I cringed when I heard the DIL telling a cousin she hadn’t realized how bad the situation was until she heard her daughter laugh and realized she hadn’t heard her laugh for so long. The whole family could come and live with us in Illinois, but if necessary we would take legal action to keep our granddaughter from going back to Canada.Our son had stayed back in Canada for immigration reasons. Our DIL had received a green card from when they had lived in US from the time of their marriage until their daughter was about 1.5 years old. DIL believes her mom destroyed the green card. DIL was afraid her mom and or stepdad would hurt her or my son if they knew they wanted to leave. DIL went back to Canada. My husband drove to Canada to pick them up. They left in the middle of the night. They called to let her mom know where they were when they arrived at our home. They have had no contact with mom and stepdad since. They and their newborn (born 12/619) still live with us.Highly recommend you take documentation with you to the police showing how well you have parented the baby. A letter from the pediatrician about your fitness as parents and a letter from the obstetrician about your compliance with instructions during your pregnancy would also be helpful. Do NOT give her the opportunity to go into hiding with your daughter. She may have delusions she is doing what is best for the baby. When we were not letting our granddaughter go back to Canada, we had our DIL tell the abuse story to multiple relatives to give us ammunition in case she got back to Canada and was coerced into doing something to get her daughter back to Canada.

IELTS exam results are valid for 2 years.Educational Credential Assessment - there are few organizations you can choose from (see Where can I get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)?). It is important to start ECA early, as the process involves getting in touch with your university/college/etc. - your school has to send Diploma Supplement, and this (depending on their response) may take some time.
